Sneaking out

Olivia POV: I'm not sure if it was the fact that I had decided I didn't want to be me anymore or if it had to do with me turning eighteen in three days and being betrothed to some Alpha I haven't even met but something had given me a boldness that I didn't seem to have before. I showered and washed my hair and then changed into a pair of gym shorts, sneakers and a tank top. I wanted to get out of this house and I didn't care how they restrained me, I was going out tonight. I opened my door and decided to use the omega entrance, I closed my door quietly as I snuck down the stairs, my heart hammering against my rib cage. I was terrified of getting caught but being rebellious was kind of exhilarating. Soon, I was standing outside in the garden path, in the cold air. I felt like laughing as I looked up at the sky and thanked the heavens. My chest was still hammering as I broke out into a sprint and started running. This feeling of freedom was intoxicating and so damn addicting. I never wanted to give it up. I hid briefly as I heard noises in the cottage, it was probably Damien with some bimbo. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I tried to reason with myself. I creeped towards the nearest window and peaked inside, "where did he go!?" Snapped my mother as she paced up and down while she massaged her temples, "I don't know, after dinner, he just didn't return." It only forced my mother to pace more, "you were supposed to keep him entertained," she said and I looked at the girl in her expensive lingerie with her bouncy short brown hair, "I did, we did do things." She smiled coyly at my mother and she scoffed and rolled her eyes, "remember one thing slut, I'm paying you for this service, you're not going to be my future daughter in law." My mother was paying some girl to sleep with my brother. Oh my Goddess! I couldn't wrap my head around any of this. "Let me know as soon as he comes home!" She growled as she made to leave, I pressed myself into the darkness as she stormed angrily back into the house, thankfully, too angry to notice. This is so f*****g weird. I continued to sneak off, this time deciding to hide in the trees. Patrol would be out at the boundary lines so there wasn't a chance of running into someone and because we were such a big pack, we barely got rogue attacks. My long brown hair was tied high again as I jogged through the trees. I was going to go back to school and train a bit more. It wasn't really anything exciting to be sneaking out for but it was for someone like me, someone who always follows the rules. I continued to jog until I made it to school. I knew where the spare key to the training equipment was, "breaking the rules are we?" Came a voice from the darkness, I jumped right out of my skin, "that is not the reaction I would expect from my star pupil," Micheal stepped out of the shadows with his arms crossed, I touched my chest as I tried to slow down my speeding heart. "You didn't have to scare me like that!" I wanted to sound angry but I was too shaken up to sound anything but that. "I'm sorry," he said as he approached me and put his hand on my shoulder, "I also know about what Kathy did and trust me, we're over for good!" I smiled at him as I touched his hand that was on my shoulder, "Micheal, you don't have to end things with her," he smiled at me, "I do, not because of you but because Kathy is psycho." I chuckled at that, "I'm guessing a tough night?" He asked, "you have no idea!" He smiled at me and tossed me a spear, "want to take it out on me?" He asked and I smiled, "don't I always?" He lit the beacons and we got into position to spar. We had started the same we did in class but this time, Micheal wasn't going to get the better of me.
