The tale of Chu Qie

The Hei Kingdom was thrown into a great chaos. After Mai Cui and Kang Zue returned, I heard Hua Chun Meili lost her husband while she suffered a fatal wound. And thus she is bedridden, the Devils were finally captured but were given a light sentence.

However, at night I could feel a strong negative aura. And g*n Liu Hyun was hurriedly waking me up.

"The fourth prince arrived but has brought monsters in the vicinity of Hei Empire. We must flee!" he pulled me and we're running away from those vermin.

However, due to the crowd from the streets, we were separated. I tried to look for him but alas he can't be found. When suddenly a warm hand held my wrist and pulled me out of the crowd.

"Mai Cui," before I could say more he pulled me then we went to the east side of the manor. Reaching our destination, he casted a magic teleportation circle.

And we were inside another manor, all the people in the manor were in here. There face were all painted with worry. While they were mumbling to each other what really is going on.

"Chu Qie, I need you to stay put in here. This manor is protected from the evil forces outside," he hurriedly went out again.

"Mistress, you're alright," a maid said in relief.

"What is going on?," I asked.

"Fourth Prince Hei Xie came back but seems to be another person. He also brought a lot of monsters right now. And Master is trying to defend and save some of our citizens. The monsters are swarming in the city," she explained.

"My poor Biaojie... Her husband is being controlled while she is unconscious," I said and wanted to go to her.

Four days passed, I heard the Mai Cui and Kang Zue were still battling the monster in the city. Most of the citizens were finally able to flee the city safely.

However, the monsters were still crawling in the city.

In the afternoon an injured Mai Cui was rushed into the manor.

"What happened?," I pulled a soldier and asked.

"We encountered Fourth Prince, however, he fought dirty and used all the Diyu poison he is carrying, poisoning General heavily!"

Diyu Poison! It can only be cleansed using a human soul but it is against the law. Only three hours left and he will die!

I hurriedly rush to his chamber while the physicians were trying to stop the poison but in the end, they could only give up.

"Leave," I ordered which they gladly did while they throw a pitiful glance at me.

I went beside him and held his hand. I look at him his face was so pale and his lips were so purple. His temperature is slowly dropping and I needed to think fast about saving him.

A small light appeared which surprised me. It was no other than the fairy, she held my hand and a strange ancient magic circle appeared under me. Slowly the light crept through my body and I could feel a slow burning sensation crawling in my body. Strange markings on my arms, hands, feet, and face appeared.

But the fairy pursued on destroying the barrier and in a split, I could feel my body going lighter and lighter. The fairy happily swirled around me while signaling me to cure Mai Cui.

I held his hand and slowly whispered," Please live."

A small round yellow aura appeared and looking at his face it returned to its normal color and vibrancy. I smiled triumphantly, knowing I would be able to heal and extend Mai Cui's life.

After healing him the little fairy hid again in my storage bracelet. No wonder I can't find her, she was great at hiding.

The memory I saw from the cave, reminded me that I had a family once in my life. And I was loved tenderly by my mother, who is my mother? I cannot seem to remember any memoir of hers? I was walking in the garden to freshen my mood when I saw Kang Zue!

Where is he going this late? I covered my aura to stop being tracked. While silently following him.

It was quite fishy because he knew the paths where no monster lurks. Going in an alley he met a stranger in cloak.

"Kang Zue master is running out of patience! Are you able to steal the stone from the Mai Household?"

He was bowing and asking for forgiveness. "Please forgive this lowly one. I am unable to find such stone."

The cloaked stranger pulled a sword and smiled deviously.

"Kang Zue master would be angry if you are unable to get the Mai's heirloom, the black comet stone. You know the punishment."

"I will not disappoint him."

"Exterminate anyone who is a thorn in your mission."

Slowly I left the alley and returned first with a panic heart.

However upon recognizing the presence of Kang Zue. My daggers violently surrounded him. With a single step, the daggers would stab him.

"Kang Zue who are you and what is your goal!?"

"Lady Chu Qie mustn't put her nose to where it shouldn't belong."

"Heh~ Black Comet Stone was it, I wonder why you want to steal such heirloom of the Mai's?"

He turned ashen, "Lady Chu Qie I believe you are digging for your grave?"

"Is it? However, while I am still here I can't let you harm a single hair on anyone here."

Without any restraints, I attack with a killing intent. The daggers were manipulated like they were leaves dancing with the wind. However were deadly and was aimed at the critical parts of the body.

Kang Zue danced with the blades, however, he noticed that the speed of the blades was becoming faster. Which he can't cope up with.

Well, I commend him that he was indeed a skilled warrior. But his endurance and agility were far below mine. Being the first First Lady warrior in heaven is not a joke for me.

Quitely observing, when one of my daggers hit his hand the sword he was holding flew in the air. With a flick of my fingers, the daggers swirled like a tornado and trapped him inside.

"Stop!," an angry roar was all I could hear. And a burst of qi poured down on Kang Zue, pulverizing my daggers.

Kang Zue was all grazed all over. His clothes were tattered while spilled with blood.

"What do you think you are doing!?"

Behind us was Mai Cui, his gaze bore on me.

I met his gaze and every fiber of my being could feel his scorching stare.

I could tell, this time he was very angry.

"He has come with an ill intent, I am just trying to protect you all. Mai Cui, believe me."

"Lady Chu Qie suddenly attacked me. She must have been eaten by jealousy. Thus, she is eliminating me to be gain all your affection."

I was smiling ear to ear as he went to my direction. But then he just brushes me off and went to where the white lotus man is.

His arm protectively wraps around his shoulder as he healed the wounds I have inflicted on his lover.

I turned my back at them and slowly walk away. Then halted," Mai Cui, let's part ways this time I'll hide from you even if it would be a century. So don't dream of seeing my shadow or my child because I will erase your presence from my heart and my child's."

With that, I proceeded on treading my way out, out of their lives and out of my old love.

This time I'll live for my own.
