Start of an Uprising

Two Morphs are with me as I sat from afar. I hate crowded places, after all. Ain't this like babysittin' or something? I'm still single!

Welp, I'm not obsessed of getting children, let alone goin' for a lovelife. Haha.

Anyway, these two kiddos thought that it's strange for sis to help. She bought A LOT of food and cooked it here like it's no big deal at all to feed A LOT OF PEOPLE.

"I dunno how she was raised, but there's one thing for sure. She unconsciously helps people."

Just like how I was saved.

During that incident in Maiden's Shroud City, the parasite that hacks my body function ceased to exist. All I remembered was a whole area of the city was covered in a black sphere and with that, it's like body was purified.

No normal one would knew about who's the caster of that spell. However, some people and most Morphs like me could know who's the skill owner thanks to the mana consumed to activate the skill. However, hers is different. It's something that was mixed with her own life. Her mana is absent. It's like all of her skills came from consuming her life force.

For her to take the risk of using a skill with such a drawback...

That's why I have nothing but respect towards her.

"Well, uh... Hello everyone. I'm Rylai Lux, and I'm here to help. I understand that in your eyes, I'm nothing but a stranger. However, that doesn't mean that I can't help you guys out. For now, pleaae rest assured, I'm not one of them."

While I'm still talking at them as they eat their meals, one of them asked in a loud voice.

"...how can we be sure that you're not one of them."

I know.

I know how hard it is for you guys to believe someone random coming from who knows where and lend her help.

But that doesn't stop me from my objective to help you.

If my Ma and Pa were to be here, I know that they'll do the same...just as what they did to me.

"If that's the case, I'll offer my assistance to eradicate the evil in this place."

I know that this move is somewhat bold, but for this place to change, everything must be done in a larger scale.

I'll just make sure that this place will be a safer place for them, especially the children and the elderly to live.

Also, I can't shake the thought of what Reme told me as soon as we hit the docks.

He thought that i didn't listen, but I heard it loud and clear.

If he's behind this, then everything in here makes sense.
