Another Skeleton's Entrance

Silver eyes. It is written in old scriptures found in the Labyrinth of Secrets. The one who possesses the silver eyes bears the responsibility to guide the dead to their asylum. However, when the Glitches were rampant in this world, the Underworld Guardian, changed the role of the possessor of Silver. “The one who bears the Silver shall deal with the remnants of the power of the evil gods. The destiny will be tedious and is full of briars and poisonous swamps. However, if Silver forges on and uproot the evil, then it will be sealed for a hundred thousand years.” The context may seem to be contradicting its own. However, it is the sole part that was deciphered since the person who was capable of deciphering it, Dr. Olaf Rendevouz, died after being attacked by a Fallen—or so the Anti-Glitch Association says. The real reason behind Dr. Olaf Rendezvous' disappearance is… ••• CAVE OF SILENCE, Underwater – Roid Ocean December 2500 “Is the specimen ready?” “Yes sir. However, there are still some bumps along the way, and we need to get more historical documents about the earliest forms of Glitches.” “Fair enough. Tell me when something’s up.” A lanky old guy wearing a lab coat walks away from the analysis room and keeps on mumbling to himself, regretting what had happened to his fellow Fallen, Cassiopeia. His voice is a bit rough, and his way of talking has an accent. “Sigh… Cassiopeia is my best assistant when it comes to experiments. It is a great loss that I lost an irreplaceable comrade. But at least she gave me one last gift before her eternal departure.” He went to his room, opened one of his drawers, and picked up a photo of one that he keeps on chasing so far until now. “I finally found the Silver. That is Cassiopeia’s last contribution.” One of his eyes glowed goldenly. It is something that he never owned but still implanted. The bearer of the Gold... "disappeared". "My, my...after a long time of waiting, I finally found you, Silver. With yours and this eye of mine combined, I shall see the truth!" The name of this researching maniac is Dr. Olaf Rendezvous. ••• "What's next? Hah, I'm tired already." I dropped to the ground, mentally exhausted. Lying around me are piles of bones of the Skeleton Warriors. I had a lot of injuries but I think it's fine. I could heal during non-combat times, just like now. The reason? [OUT OF COMBAT HEALING] - This skill is activated whenever out of combat. It consumes all the Rage Points accumulated, forcing it to zero. That is the reason why. As for why I wasn't able to see it when I inspected my stats before, I don't know actually. It seems my stats now have that General features and Specified ones. Whenever I thought about a part of my stats or skills, the overall description appears. When I had thought about peeking at my Rage Points purpose, it showed up. Ah, not literally. It's more or less pictured in my head. That's when I saw this lovely feature. Thankfully this one still existed in my skills galore. My wounds and injuries were gradually treated, though there is a new thing that spiked through my mind. "That's odd. I think there's something wrong. I better make it out of here before everything else", I declared to myself. What's this odd, unsettling feeling? ••• Well, now's okay. All of my wounds are now healed. And the effects of my first battle paid off. Though I need to be reprimanded for my actions, for being too conceited. "Assuming that there is." I did a sigh of disbelief while exasperated fighting this pile of bones. I've never been so discontented throughout my life so I better take a lesson or two from it. "Huh? Oh no. Not the Skeleton General..." The bones started to merge like unions of some microorganisms I saw in my research. It's the Skeleton General and it's tougher than ever.
