Broken Yet Desired

Chapter 5: Changes Come.

Lexi POV:

His speech was epic.

He told us that the bullying he has seen personally and has personality been involved with is stopping today! That both him and his father the Alpha were both in agreement on it!

If anyone is caught bullying, they will be locked into the dungeon until they can be questioned by acting Alpha and receive the correct punishment for their crimes.

That we will be trying harder to intermingle with other species and no longer be old fashioned like our Great Grand parents were...

We will be helping our Pack grow more and create half species to help grow our Pack and make it one of the strongest most powerful Packs, even more then we are now.

Everyone cheered.

I was even blushing at his words.

Then he continued to stay since he is 18 and will be a fully trained dominant Alpha soon. He will be ready to challenge his father for Alpha then.

Everyone erupted in great cheering again!

And some hoots and hollers in between.

Cole then cleared it throat to getting everyone's attention back to him again and calmed the crowd.

Then he told everyone his Luna is waiting on him he can feel it now and I will be a faithful Mate from now on, then he apologized to the Pack sincerely for his behavior and disrespect for/to his future Luna of the Pack.

A few Pack members yelled out "you're forgiven soon to be Alpha!"

Of course She-Wolves. Lusting after him.

I mentally rolled my eyes at that one.

Then he said "Anyone wanting to go to a interspecies college will be highly encouraged to go and the Pack my even help pay for their schooling. And any one wanting to inquire about this should get a appointment to see the in the Alpha in his office, starting on Monday...If they haven't already!"

He paused while looking around.

"Now it is time for the feast! Everyone wanting to stay and attend can join us in the Pack house...And we thank you all so much for coming and listening, It means so much for our future."

Then a brief paused for a second or two again trying to find me in the crowd I guessed and then successfully succeeding he looked me in the eyes and then continued....

"Together we will make this Pack a much better place to live. And soon it will be one of the most powerful and highly praised Packs around"....

"Have a great safe evening everyone and enjoy. "

Everyone bowed their heads in unison, then applauded and cheered.

Then, most Pack members started going back to the Pack house for the feast. A few went home...

I saw Summer, stomp away. You could definitely tell she was upset. Being that she wanted to be the next Luna and all. And Cole kinda squash what they've been doing in front of everyone!

I went back to the kitchen in the Pack house to see if anything was left to bring out into the dining area and there wasn't anything to do and I was already done with everything for the evening so I went out to grab some food.

Everything was placed out beautifully. I grabbed a plate full of food from the buffet table we arranged earlier and a bottled water from a cooler then found my self a place to eat.

In the living room of the Pack house... -_-

I started scarfing down my food, as soon as my butt hit the black leather couch.

I looked around.

Wow. The Luna decorated spectacularly.

Little fairy lights everywhere and beautiful bouquets flowers in every place she could fit them. She loved decorating her self with little to no help. She loves doing this stuff for us.

And they were every where so she worked super hard. I have always admired the Luna.

She is beautiful. And truly a nice, wonderfully warm woman.

Standing a tall 5'7" A stunning bleach blonde. A warm sun kissed tan. And her smile. Cole inherited that.

Ever since my mother's death she has been distant from me. It was because she was my mother's best friend when my mother was alive.

I had a about half my food down when I felt the seat dip next to me.

I looked over and the Luna was sitting next to me.

I bowed my head.

She blushed. And gave me her million dollar smile. ' That's what everyone called it ' Her smile could light up a whole room.

" Hello Lexi. Thank you for the food it is amazing tonight." She said giving me another warm smile.

" You're welcome Luna." I say back to her. Her eyes are locking on mine.

She mind-linked me....

" I also wanted to apologize for my behavior after your mother died, I know it was hard for you. But it was hard for me as well. There are things I think you should know before you leave for college. And your mother left you somethings as well, that she wanted you to have before you go to college. Come to me after the party and I will be waiting in my office. Please don't be late." Using her Luna tone so I couldn't disobey.

"Yes, Luna." I said back to her.

Then I ended the mind-link....

I went to turn away to finish my food.

" Please, Lexi call me Georgia. You don't have to call me Luna if you do not want too. " Luna said warmly to me.

I looked back at her.

" Okay Georgia, but I didn't think...." I started.

" Non since she hushed me, now let's eat our food." With a warm smile she finished her sentence and shoved a huge bite into her mouth.

After I was done eating I grabbed more food and ate two more plates full of food and made my way back out side. I needed it all to heal.

It was a gorgeous night out.

Summer was almost here and you could tell. With that hot breeze and smell of thunder storms that only summer has.

I finished my food and put my plates into the sink.

I wasn't working tonight thank the Moon Goddess.

I wandered around the Pack house a bit more and a lot of people where starting to clear out a few were waiting in line to talk to the Alpha, about his son's and his announcement.

I wondered around and found my self in the gardens waiting untill it was late enough to meet up with the Luna.

Not wondering where Cole was.

I met a nice Gardner named Eric we chatted the rest of the night. He was shy at first then, once I got to know him very smart and nerdy.

He told me all about the garden and it's history. His family had been here doing the same stuff for their whole lives for generations.

Georgia's POV:

I mind-linked Lexi and let her know I was ready. It was like 11:30 at this point.

I was in my office with the box her mother had left for her. And the note her mother had left me I had read it about a million times in my top drawer ready to pull out.

I hope whatever is in the box was worth protecting for my best friend, for so long.

I hurt Lexi so much....

A knock on my door.

" You may enter." I say, trying to be as warm as I can. Just thinking about her mom.

She closed the door behind her.

Then came forward and sat down in the chair, that did not have a box on it.

I giggled a bit.

" So I am guessing that is what she left for me, Luna?" With quite a cold tone, Lexi said harshly.

She was looking at the box in my other office chair. It was sealed shut and had 'Do Not Touch, Only for LEXI.' - Written on it, in her mother's handwriting.

" Yes. And I never opened it ,out of respect for you. She gave that box to me with a hand written note as well, I have the note here if you would like to read it, Lexi?" I said to her.

I took the note out of my top drawer of my desk and I set the envelope with her note in it on top of my desk in the middle and push it towards her.

She took the envelope and opened it and read it aloud.

'Dear Georgia,

I hated the way things in my life ended. I am here now writing you, begging you my dear friend to help me. Give this box to my daughter when she leaves for college. Untill my bright brilliant daughter leaves for college, Please make sure she is safe. I know my son will take my death the hardest, so keep your eyes on him too.

But I know they will come for her at some point. He will find out she exists and be furious at me that, I kept her and did not abort her after I had run away.... I took a few of his things, to help her discover who she truly is and how amazingly perfect she is and how brave and truly powerful she is and will become. She will make our Pack stronger than ever before. Lexi's grandmother predicted on her father's side, that Lexi will be too powerful; his daughter with me! And that Lexi, will be his undoing if I have her. They tried to force me to get an abortion. He had made an appointment for that next week. So before that day came, I knew I had to run away.....It was the only way to keep my daughter safe...

So when the time is right please make sure she has these things to protect her...

I am so sorry I lied to everyone and especially my best friend. Please do this for me and she will be our savior... I know it!! When I was pregnant with her I had a prediction of my own. I think it was because I was pregnant with her. It was of our Pack's future, yet to come...

First of my own death when they first came for me, Lexi will save you all. But my husband will turn rogue because of my death.....

Then another prediction of her future. Lexi! It will be a hard life with out me for her. But if you can get her to embrace her destiny and your son to embrace his possible future Luna your Pack with be the strongest in the land with their union.

Keep my son in line or he will drive her away and it could go either way then.The destruction of the Pack or the best thing to ever happen to the Pack. But keep your eyes open for other hidden evils too!'

Lexi was in tears by the end of the letter.

She looked up and I handed her the tissue box.

" I know I couldn't believe it. When she left she had a affair. She went to a summer camp with a few friends from college and when summer was over she came back a completely different person. " I said barley containing my tears my self.

I continued speaking... " Before she left we were inseparable best friends. We did a lot of things together. We even had our first child around in the same month as well. When she got back, which I never wanted her to go anyway in the first place.

In college our senior year together this new guy Lucifer transfered to our school. He was a ladies man. And he was a bad boy. Your mother became friends with him that year even though your father disapproved And they made plans to go to a summer camp with a few of his friends from his home town. That year she pushed everyone away from her and became obsessed with him. It was almost like she was under a spell." I said trying to hold back my tears now.

" But when she came home from the summer camp he didn't come with her. She never told me what happened untill a few days before he came back to try to kill you, Lexi. " As I say that her face drops down and she is about to cry again.

" He put her under a spell and made her fall in love with him to try to impregnate her with a hybrid child. His mother predicted that his children would be so powerful no one would ever dare try to harm their Dark Coven again, but that he had to be careful if he chose the wrong woman to impregnate they would cost the Coven everything. One Were-wolf woman would bear him the most powerful light hybrid of all time and the other the most dark hybrid of all time." I paused for a second then I continued.

" She found out she was the wrong Wolf girl..."

"One night their she over heard him and his mother talking. That would Veronica your mother would bring the child of light. And she must be killed... So she stole his family's spell book and ran back to us as fast as she could, they were going to kill your mother, not get her an abortion like Lucifer had told her she was getting. But not before she found a powerful Witch of light and made a few protection items for her self and her future daughter." I said not as judgmental as I could.

" Can I open the box now?" Lexi said boldly.

I nodded my head in agreement and handed her my pair of scissors at the same time, so she could cut open in the box.

As she slowly cut open the box her mother left her she looked inside and then quickly closed the box.

" Your mother wanted you to have all of that to help you. I hope you choose us. I know things have been hard on you but everything has a purpose my dear, and I am sorry I couldn't help you more. You may leave now have a great night and I want you to take off the rest of your work shifts.... I want you to rest and spend time processing everything before you leave for school. I hope you have a goodnight my dear." I said smiling as warmly as I could to her.

Lexi gathered up her box her mother left her and I told her to take my note as well.

She did and then left but not before bowing her head to me and telling me goodnight warmly back.

Lexi's POV:

As I made my way back to my room

my head was pounding at this point. So much more information to process.

I locked my door behind me.

I set the box down and opened it up again.

Inside was a huge book.

My father's family spell book.

It was leather a bit worn. Dyed black with a gold rim around the edges. A symbol was on the top. It was golden.

Thin golden lines u shaped line that connected into each other and formed almost a triangle with a circle in it.

Later I would find out it was the triquetra symbol.

A few envelopes with letters were in their for me, from my mother as well.

Along with a necklace for me. In the first letter it said it was enchanted to protect me from my father's Dark Coven from finding me. When my Wolf awakens that my witch powers will be unlocked as well and the the necklace will help hide my powerful Witch aura from them, untill I can learn to mask my own powerful Witch aura. Once I am strong enough....

Her letter was beautiful.. I can not believe everything my father put her though.... Just to make a baby with a Werewolf.

He wanted a powerful son to help him take over our magical world.

We exist within the human world but we hid our selves from them. Every magical creature does.

We all have our own territory's.

Our Pack is one of the most successful and powerful Werewolf Packs in the country. We are in a small town outside of Michigan's biggest city's up north.

Our Pack Alpha Burt owns his own business. A few of them in fact. A high tech security company. Then a sock exchange company. And a few more I can't remember. After we all graduate. He pays for most of us to go to school if our parents can't. Then we work off our debt to him at one of his companies. Till our schooling debt is paid off then we can stay at our jobs at his company or find our own passions in life and stay members of the Pack.

Not a lot of Alpha's do that... Most the time they own your family till you died. But in the 21st century, times are getting better for us.

As I contemplate the benefits of staying with her Pack.

I open my mother's letter one more time...

'My Dearest Daughter Lexi,

How I wish I could of seen you become the brilliant young lady I know you will become. I am so sorry I am not their for you. I am also so very sorry for everything you will go through in life my daughter. Know it is for a reason. I know your father would be so proud of you too. Your real father... James raised you since birth your where his. Just please find it in your heart to forget your brother with time he will need you. Just know he will get what is coming to him. He is hurting with out me and your father's guidance. And he will need you. Just like the Pack does. Please know I hate leaving you like this and I am sorry I never told you before now. I wanted to tell you so many times before. But I didn't want to throw off my vision of the future. I didn't know what would come of the future if I had messed with anything or told your or your father or your brother anything. I know you will find yourself in college my darling daughter. Just know how much you are loved by me and our family. Your future is bright I love you and in the box is your father's Dark Coven's spell book. Use it wisely. It almost cost me my life to get for you...And I had a protection amulet made for you. Wear it daily once your wolf awakens. I love you so much... I know I could never even explain why I feel under his spell/Or how. Just know there are powerful creatures out in the world that this will protect you from their charms and spells and against all evil. Along with this debt card it has my family's live savings on it I want you to have it. The necklace will hide your powerful Witch aura until you're powerful enough to hide it on your own. That's why you should wear it daily my dear...

I tried my dear I tried. I am so sorry I failed you.

A few more letters were in the box all with messages on the envelopes, on when to read them. She made them all while pregnant with me apparently... I would find out later in them. All had life events on them like when I got the box open this letter with the box .. Open this letter on your first day of college... And open this one when your graduation party is over ...Open this one at your first child's birth... Open this one at your wedding...You know major life events. -_-

Fuck. My life is a mess. I wipe away a few tears. As I tuck the letters back into the box. And pull the neckless out

Buzz.

Just then, I got a text.

I reached over and grabbed my phone of my night stand. And tuck the box under my bed and put the neckless on.

I was shocked to see who it was.

Cole: ' Hey Lexi, I know it is late but I wanted to meet up in the woods at old swimming hole we used to play at as kids our spot, I wanted to talk more and spend more time with you before I left in private if that is okay?'

Lexi: ' Of course that would be okay. We will be all alone. I will get ready and meet you there in fifteen to twenty minutes. See you soon, Cole. ;) '

Cole: ' See you soon beautiful, I can not stop thinking about you. Fyi...

Soon I will be able to touch your beautiful face again and look into your gorgeous eyes. I will be there waiting. Do not disappoint me, Lexi. I am rock hard, just thinking about how I am going to made you smile so hard from seeing what I have planned tonight for us. ;) '

I could not stop blushing. Thank The Moon Goddess for alone time with him. I want to give my self to him before he leaves. I want this! He has changed...

He made a speech in front of the whole Pack just for me.

I grabbed my black bra and panty set my only nice set I own and my shower towel and my shower bag. Then a cute black skirt and a spaghetti strap black top. I wanted to look like a bad girl and my makeup bag...Then I headed off into our Packs Omega showers.

I wasn't a long walk most everyone was off getting ready for bed. Or in bed already, it was well past midnight at this point. And most everyone where in bed full in all of their rooms.

I opened the door and walked in... No one was in here.

Yay..

I set my clothes and underwear down in my locker and then stripped down...

I grabbed my shower stuff and towel and flip flops and went to go get ready for the rest of this magical evening.
