Can We Be Together Again?

Chapter Seven

City Hospital...

Trisha's room...

There was a rustling sound coming from Trisha's ward. It was like that someone was searching for something inside the ward. Mishika went to get lunch for her sister, and when she came back, she got shocked after seeing the situation inside the ward.

Everything was thrown here and there inside, and Trisha was searching for something by throwing the things without knowing what she was doing. She was looking so desperate, like she would die if she did not get that thing.

"Didu, Didu, what happened, Didu?" Mishika quickly put the lunch box to the side table and to her sister to stop her.

"Mishi. It's hurting... Mishi. I want it now. I can not take it anymore, Please Mishi, just one time, Please Mishi, Please." Trisha said desperately but still searching. 

"No, Didu, It's not good for you and for your health. Please try to understand. Didu," Mishika grabbed her sister by her arms and was trying to stop her. 

"No, Mishi, You will understand. Let me go now. I am going to get," Trisha was struggling to get free from Mishika's grip, but she did not have that much strength in her.

"No, Didu, I will not let you go anywhere. You just sit here, okay. Everything will be alright." Mishika took Trisha towards the bed and made her sit forcefully. Then she rang the emergency button to call the doctors.

"Didu, drink some water. Please calm down, and everything will be alright. Okay," Mishika made her drink some water to make her calm down. She was very worried for her sister that her tears were falling from her eyes. After her mother, she was very close to her sister, and she could not see her in pain. It was hurting her so much to her dear sister in pain.

Rushing footsteps...

Soon the doctors also came to the ward and started to check Trisha's condition.

"Doctor, please check her," Mishika said, giving some space to doctors so that they could check on her sister.

"Don't worry, Miss Malhotra. We will give her an injection, and she will sleep after that. When she will wake up, she will be alright," the Doctor replied and gave an injection to Trisha, which soon made her sleep.

"Okay," Mishika said when she saw her sister's sleeping figure.

"Miss Malhotra, your sister's situation is not good, and she is addicted to drugs. Not that much, but still, she will be uncomfortable when she craves for it," Doctor explained.

"What should I do in that situation Doctor," Mishika asked with a tense face. 

"You need to make sure that she will not take it. I will suggest some medicine to you which you can use in this type of situation." Doctor suggested.

"Okay," Mishika agreed quickly as she could do anything for her sister. After explaining everything to Mishika, doctors also left the ward.

"Didu, What have you done to yourself," Mishika said, looking at her sister, who was sleeping peacefully after taking the injection.

Advik's office...

It had been a week after Mishika slapped Advik. Advik decided to get her at any cost. Advik planned to do something to force Mishika to come to her at any cost.

Right now, Advik was sitting in his office and was checking some files, and Veer was sitting in front of him. He was looking at him for a long time, but it did not affect Advik as he was just ignoring his stupid best friend. He knew that it was Veer's habit whenever he wanted to talk about something or wanted to say something. He would just stare at him for some time and eventually say what he wanted to say.

And he was very correct about it because soon Veer opened his mouth and asked the question which he wanted to ask, "So, what's the plan?"

"What plan?" Advik asked with a confused face. Like he did not know what Veer was talking about.

"Woww... Now you want to hide it from me? Do not forget that I am your business partner, and I will get to know you sooner or later," Veer tried to get angry at his friend, but he said it very proudly like nothing could be hidden from him.

"If you know everything, then why are you asking me?" Advik rolled his eyes and then focused again on his work.

"I just wanted to confirm it. I was not believing that you could actually do that with her father," Veer shrugged and said. He was not affected by Advik's behavior at all because he knew his friend's personality.

"What did I do?" Advik put his pen to the side by which he was signing the documents and looked at his annoying friend, who was not letting him do the work and would not let him do it until he got the complete information.

"Yeah yeah. You did not do anything. You just played with her father's business a little," Veer rolled his eyes and said.

"What do you mean by playing a little? I just got a project which is important for our company," Advik raised his eyebrow and looked at him.

"Humph as if I believe you. You got the important project our company, but you did not forget that it was also very important for her father. Her father invested a lot in this project, and if he did not get it, then it would be a tremendous loss for his company, and maybe his company could be bankrupt. You knew that all along, and that's why you tried so hard to get this project so that you could force her to come to you. Am I right? or am I right." Veer said everything which he got to know.

"I think you know a lot, and if you know, then why are you still asking this nonsense question to me?" Advik said.

"As I have said earlier that I wanted to confirm it from your mouth," Veer did not budge but just straight his back and looked at his best friend for an answer.

"Alright, I have done that. So what?" Advik sighed and agreed that he did everything.

"Do you not think that if she got to know that it is you who had done all of it, she will get angry and will also be started to hate you?" Veer asked seriously because he was worried for Advik. There was already a lot of misunderstanding between them, and now Advik had done that, which would affect their relationship even more.

Advik gave a sad chuckle and said, "Did she not hate me now? So what if she again started to hate me more? as long as she is with me, I do not care about anything else. Right now, I just want her to be with me, and this is the correct time to take action because that woman is still in the Hospital and will not interfere in our life again." He remembered Mishika's angry face and the hate in her eyes for him.

"Ohhh, Okay," Veer did not say anything more when he saw Advik's sad face, and he knew what he was thinking at that time.

"Anything else? If there is nothing, then get lost. I am very busy right now," Advik composed his emotions and ordered his friend to get lost from his office.

"Alright I am going," Saying that Veer stood up and went out of his office, leaving Advik behind, who was still thinking about Mishika.

"I am Sorry Mishu," Advik said.
