Chapter 1
Ariana Pov I was in my room studying. It was our final year in college and we had a lot of work to do. I have an unfinished project that has to be submitted before next week. "Happy birthday." Erika and Eva chirped as they entered my room without knocking. That startled me. I thought they were going to see some friends. I actually knew it was my birthday, but didn't want to tell any of them. I thought they did forgotten.  Eva held a cake with small candles on it. She brought it closer to me.  "Go ahead Ariana, make a wish."  I smiled, then stood up. I leaned down and blew the candle. Just wish to find happiness.  "Yah, how do you like it?" Eva asked.  "It is beautiful. I thought you both forgot it was my birthday," I admitted.  Eva placed the cake on the table. "We will never."  "Yeah. And if you think you're spending your day in your room studying," Erika shook her head. "Not gonna happen."  I drew my brows. "What are you talking about?" I went back to my chair and sat down.  "Come on, Ariana. Let have a party because it is your birthday," Eva suggested.  "No I can't, I have books to study and unfinished projects."  "We all have unfinished projects, but you don't see us locking ourselves in the bedroom on our birthday." Erika said as she sat down on the bed.  "What?" I chuckled dryly. "I didn't lock myself in my room." I glanced at my book.  "Really? When last last did you go out?" Eva asked, crossing her hand.  "Uhh..... Yesterday." I lied. They were saying the truth. I haven't gone out of my apartment since the beginning of spring break.  I stood up. "Guys, I am really busy doing other things now." I sat down on the bed beside Erika.  "It is spring break, you need to take a break from studying and have fun," Eva suggested as she joined me in bed.  "How do you want to spend this break?" Erika asked.  They already know the answer to that.  "Not going home to see my family, I am just going to stay back and study."  "Just like you have been doing for all the breaks we get. Even Christmas break," Eva pointed out.  Erika sighed. "We understand the reason you don't want to go home to see your family, who we know you went back to when we graduate. But we can celebrate this year's birthday."  "Yeah, your last year's birthday was spent here. You just refuse all the invitations to go have fun. Let make this year different." Eva gleamed.  I guess I need a few drinks and to take my mind off something.  I breathed out. "Okay. Where are we going?"  Eva and Erika grinded. "To the club." They said in unison.  *************** I have never regretted doing anything in my life.  Fuck! What was I thinking about going to a club with Erika and Eva?  I shouldn't have gone out with them.  They ditched me at the door of the club as soon as we got there. I had been there for about two hours and I only spotted Erika rocking a stranger on the dance floor. As for Eva, I hadn't seen her.  I assume she is making out with a guy in the bathroom, she always talks about how good it feels getting f****d on bathroom wall. Erika and I find it gross when she talks about it.  I had just finished a bottle of beer and I was having the second one. I wasn't drunk yet but I was a little tipsy.  I watched how others people dance and make out in public. It is gross watching them do that.  I was actually staring at one now. The guy who sat down beside me at the bar counter was making out with a w***e he met five minutes ago, and it seems he does care she a w***e.  She sat on his lap kissing the guy. And the guy was clearly enjoying himself as his hands roamed around her back.  I switched my gaze from them to the hot bartender who didn't seem interested in any lady who came to the club.  I am just wasting my time coming here to celebrate my birthday. I got a good bite from the cake Eva made. I wish I had just stayed at home and enjoyed the remaining cake.  I sighed. "Hey, can I have three shots of vodka brought to me." I waved at the bartender to get his attention.  He nodded acknowledging my demands. He set the shot on the counter and poured the vodka into it.  I drank them one after the other with one gulp.  I glanced at the two who were making out beside me.  The guy was placing hickeys on the girl's neck and seemed to enjoy it.  "Excuse me." I waved for the attention of the bartender.  He came to me. "Do you want more shots?" He asked.  "No, I just want you to ask these two besides to quit it." I said.  He glanced at them and smiled. "They seem like they are enjoying themselves." "Obviously." I snorted disgustingly.  "Don't won't want to stop what they like." The bartender said and smiled.  I smiled and blushed. The bartender was really cute and I think I like him.  "Ohh, so what your name?" I asked slyly tugging my hair at the back of my ear.  He smirk. "Am not to say my name to the customer. It the club rules."  "What? That a stupid rule."  He chuckled. "I could if you promise to here when I am done with my shift."  My mood light up immediately. "Really?"  He chuckled again. "Enjoy yourself." He said and went to go answer other customers.  And that was basically the last thing I remembered form that night.  And only to wake up the next morning feeling sore and mess up.  I woke up to see myself in an hotel room and with the least things I expected to see.  I saw a five thousand bundle of dollars on the drawer beside the bed and a note.  I took the note and read the sentence that broke my heart and made me feel used. Thanks for the night stranger, you f**k good.
