Chapter Seventeen

One month later.

One month has changed all the equations on the two most richest family of India. They have come closer. Raj and Vivek have bonded really very well over some tea-newspapers. Shreya and Divyanka have already planned everything for their future..from all the trips to the functions, they will attend *together*. Dev and Rithvik has turned best friends, discussing all the major issues and policies about their business, almost together and even had thought of a major collab. Sonakshi and Asha are now like soul sisters, they really get along on the topic of *babies*and have decided to start a startup after the infants become two. Mukti has bonded really well with her bhabhi and they make it a point to talk atleast once a day. Navya is coming in a week so surely Cabir will get a good news. Shubaan and Shubh are the best buddies and Suhana is surely their guardian.

And most importantly, Manik and Nandini have been working on their flaws and goods so to work out their relationship, together. From waking up through calls to sending a bouquet, Manik has made it to his daily schedule while wishing him the good night first to chocolate bouquets and even to their beautiful dates, Nandini has always been the perfectionist. But still something was left! Their closeness still had to be More and they were trying out the best to make the other comfortable and were successing too.

Malhotra Villa.

A girl, wearing a red long kurti made her way inside the Mansion and greeted Shreya who kissed her cheek and motioned upwards to which she went not before taking blessings from the elders, greeting the ladies and playing with the toddlers. It was her first time like this.

And yes, you all guessed it right. It was she. The to-be Mrs. Malhotra, Now Nandini Murthy.

She unlocked the door and found it dark inside. She walked towards his bedroom through the corridor and found him, sleeping, on his front, shirtless. Her hormones did take a toll seeing the greek god infront of her. O LA LA!

And then her eyes snapped at the laptop beside him, on *her* place. (If you know what I mean)

She sighed at the workaholic man and smiled knowing that he was doing all these just because of their wedding so that he could heave a sigh of relief during their marriage and after that.

She adjusted herself beside her in a sitting position and ruffled his hairs, caressing after.

"Manik! Manik" She kissed the back of his neck to which he motioned a little.

"Na..Nandini" He whispered and again slept making her smile.

"Wake up sleepy baby" She whispered against her ear to which he gave the most attractive lazy smile.

"Manik, Wake up Pleaseee" And she hugged him from his back to which he opened his eyes and looked and found his sunshine.

"Aree! Nandini" He turned and she kept her head on his chest. He caressed her hairs and suddenly again slept.

She sighed and kissed his forehead "Okay baby! I will clean the room" She said to which he pulled her wrist "No!"

He sat down, with quilt till his waist and looked at her "Servants will do that" Nandini giggled "Why? Do you not want me to touch your things?"

Manik pulled her by waist to which she collided with her chest "No!! Nothing like that!!"

"Accha baba! Now get ready and we will have breakfast tab" She stood up and went to the cupboard and picked out a casual for him and handed over to him while he was spreading his arms, standing in a track while she stood there drooling on his abs.

"Accha Manik" She called out for him to which he asked "What?" From the washroom.

"I can at least clean the bed" She said to which he sighed "Okay baba"

And she arranged the bed and walked downstairs.

He came after getting ready and what he saw was surely the most perfect scene, ever saw for him.

Nandini was giggling with Shreya and Sonakshi and was sitting on the slab while Shreya and Sona were instructing the chefs.

He smiled and captured a picture when Cabir took the phone from his hand and Manik ran behind him to the room.

"What are you both doing? " Nandini entered Cabir's room to which Manik hid his phone "No.. Nothing, baby" And Cabir smirked but decided to keep mum.

"Come out! It's breakfast time" She said to which Cabir went and Nandini asked *what* through her eyes to Manik to which he smiled and nodded in a no and walked to her and kissed her forehead "I love you"

She smiled and clutched his t-shirt and said "I love you too"
