Chapter Ten

After a month.

*Tring-Tring*

"Mr. Ashok Meh-" Manik turned around and motioned Aman to get the call and then turned to his employee who was literally sweating.

"How may I help you?" Aman took the call without glancing at the name once and it was his mistake. There she was, at the opposite side.

"Mr. Man..Sorry? Who are you?" Nandini spoke over the phone not able to get the voice.

"Ma'am, this is Aman" Aman spoke to which Nandini nodded "Okay I will call later" And she hung up knowing that he must be busy with something very important not before hearing "You are fired" And she mentally palmed herself that she has to deal with an angry hulk now.

Everyone got away from the cabin with Manik, pressing his head, stressed yet looking like a greek goddess. He turned his chair around to adore the sea shore. He wanted to see her, but she was also busy with a surgery.

He closed his eyes when he heard his gate open. He didn't open his eyes knowing that someone very close to him have visited him. Maybe Mom, Urm! Dad or Nand- She is busy Manik.

He heard the tip tops of heels and presumed it to be of Sona bhabhi or Mukti!

He then felt two soft palms over his head. And that's when he gave the most relaxing smile ever. It was her afterall.

He smiled, the widest and kept his palm over hers and closed his eyes, withdrawing his palms relaxing his body and soul.

"Tum yeha?" He asked.

"Just got to know that my fiáncee is very much tensed so" She has to be the perfect girl for him. So caring and loving. Mentally thanking  god and Rashmi he turned his chair around and looked at the doll near him.

"I am very tired now! Let's go to the private lounge" He said and went inside the private lounge built inside his cabin with her.

He lied on the bed while she sat resting her back at the bedside, covered him with the duvet, started ruffling his hairs.

"Kya hua Manik, Why do you always have to take all the tensions on your head" She cutely pressed his head to which he smiled and closed his eyes "Dad ki bhi age ho rahi hai nah Nandini..So I have to right? Even Dev bhai bhi kitna sambhal rahe hai" He spoke lovingly to which she pressed his head "Shaadi ke baad aap agar aisa karenge Mr. Workaholic Malhotra toh maybe like aaj kal ke biwi ki tarah aapki biwi bhi chorr de aapko" She teased him.

He smiled and caressing her knuckles said "Well, My parents had got me the bestest fiancee ever so no chance..She understands me very well" He spoke looking into her eyes making her blush.

"So jao Manik" She caressed his hairs and pressed his forehead to which soon sleep overpowered his senses taking him to a beautiful dreamland of hers.

She too slept on the same position and the souls started dreaming about the other.

After around four to five hours, Nandini rubbed her eyes and sat up on the bed, spreading her arms. She looked at the surrounding and realised that she was still in *hi-their* private lounge.

She smiled and she saw the duvet over her. She smiled more deeply knowing that it was him who cared for her so much.

She looked at the side table and found a cup of coffee with a note. She caressed the note lovingly which read - To my beautiful fiàncee, it's because of you only that I am working so happily in my cabin. Thank you and take the coffee. Must be cold now :3. Meet me soon.      Manik.

She smiled and drank the coffee and went near his chair and stood behind him as he looked at some files. She slowly snaked her arms around his neck while he smiled and pecked her arms and again got himself indulged in the files.

"Slept well?" He asked, eyes still on the files.

"Yes, Very much" She said happily. Indeed,Very much.

"I would go by 5" She looked at the clock *16:45* and nodded "Would drop you home" Manik said to which she smiled and jumped on the couch arranged and got herself busy with the social networks.

*Door unlocked*

"Manik..I will leave no-" Dev entered and saw Nandini who smiled at him and stood up

"Are Nandini..How are you?" He side hugged her while she reciprocated smiling "I am fine bhai..What about you?"

"I am fine too baby girl, Sona wanted to meet you" He said to which she smiling nodded "Soon bhai..How's Suhana and Shubh" She asked to which he smiled "Fine but they miss you"

"Aw! I will meet them soon bhai" Nandini informed and was about to go back to the couch when she found her father in law entering.

She bent down and took his blessings *forcibly* "Are! Nandini..Kitni baar bola! Pair mat baro beta ji! Aap toh apni hai" He hugged her and scolded her to which she showed him her teeth " Abb! Who can resist this cutie any more" He kissed her forehead making her giggle.

"Visit soon baby girl..Asha and others miss you a lot" Nandini nodded smiling "I miss them too Dad..I will" Raj smiled.

All this while, a gaze was on her. That too from her own fiancee who was smiling and feeling proud witnessing the bond she share with *hi-her* family.
