Chapter Eleven

Malhotras and Murthys were getting all elated and ready. After all it was their first picnic together.

It was around 5 am when Malhotras reached Murthy as Murthy farmhouse was a little deeper to the countryside so it would take time. Nandini, Manik with the driver in one car. Cabir, Mukti, Suhana,in one. Nyonika, Raj, Vivek and Divya in one with Shubhaan and Shubh while Dev, Sona, Asha and Rithvik in one. All the drivers were accompanying them and driving the cars while another pair of cars was for the bodyguards for their safety.

Nandini was looking best in casuals while he too was no less, in casuals.

They all got seated in the cars while Nandini was continuously yawning as she had a late night surgery yesterday.

"Want to sleep?" He asked, putting on his glasses making her pout.

"Come here" He asked her to lay her head down on his lap and curl herself like a ball so to adjust her legs. She smiled happily and did what he said while he was started looking into the deals on his i-pad.

His hand fell involuntarily on her, rubbing her hairs to which she smiled deeply as it was the same thing her Mumma does to make her sleep. Her smile disappeared when she found no movements on her hairs. She yanked her eyes up and saw him still busy with his i-pad.

She took his one hand, which was not in use and rubbed the fingers with her hairs making him laugh.

"So I can touch your hairs?" He asked.

"Of course you can" She said happily and snuggled to him more closely while he started caressing her hairs.

"Nandini? " He patted her cheeks to which she looked at him,  her hairs messed up,  her eyes still sleepy.  Manik smiled at her condition.  How much was he dying to see her like this,  everyday. 

"Did we reach? " She asked to which he nodded negatively and showed her the car window, and she witnessed the family members arranged around their car smiling. 

Nandini looked at Manik with confused eyes to which he blinked his eyes in assurance.  She got out of the car where Shreya kissed her forehead and the ladies went inside the restaurant to have their lunch. 

Manik with the other men smiled at their girls and followed them. 

After having lunch,  they got arranged in their cars like before and started their journey again. 

"Manik.. Are you busy? " She asked softly as he was still busy with his I-pad. He smiled and showed him his five fingers "Only 5 Minutes "

Nandini nodded smiling and looked outside.  After around 10 mins,  he came closer to her making her smile. 

"Done? " She asked and kept her head on shoulder while he started caressing her knuckles  "Yes "

"Nandini! Are you really happy with this relationship? " He asked all of a sudden snatching the floor beneath her.  Was he thinking of withdrawing from th-? No. 

"Aren't you happy? " She asked and noticed his smile.  He was?  Dilemma. 

"If I say the truth toh trust me" He caressed his knuckles, looking at er knuckles making him look at him  "I have never been more happy" He confessed making her blush.  She couldn't control her blush and that droolworthy smile. 

"Toh all of a sudden?" She looker at him.

"Woh..I thought you aren't liking this workaholic fiancee of yours" He said giggling making her smile "No, Manik! I understand..Even I work! So you know! Don't worry" She said,smiling.

"Sir, We reached" The driver alerted them to which they nodded and got off the car. Both spread their arms, rejuvenating themselves.

"Wow! A beautiful place" All exclaimed inhaling the greenish fragrance of the countryside, making the Murthys smile.

"Urm! Manik, You have the room besides Nandinis..Shreya and Raj ji, you have the room in the ground wing with us..Dev beta,you have the room in the second floor...And Cabir..Mukti..You have your rooms at the top most floor besides each other..Just above Nandini's room" Divya showed them the ways to which everyone nodded and went to their rooms, with the servants carrying the luggage behind.

Manik smiled at the room given to him. Red. Wow. Impressive. He decided to freshen himself while same was the case surge everyone except Nandini, who unpacked her handbag and found his i-pad.

She smiled and walked to his room and to her luck *or not* found it opened. She looked around and found none. She decided to enter further and kept the i-pad on his bedside table and that's when, heard a door unlock. She smiled and turned around. But the sight infront of her wasn't very *comfortable* one.

She widened his eyes as he was just in a towel while he smiled at her.

"Manik!!! Eeee" She closed her eyes as she literally saw a naked Manik. Semi-naked.
