Forever

Olivia's POV "Olivia, you have to make everything perfect for today. We have special guests that will be arriving in the evening. There should be no mistakes or else you will be punished. You remember what happened the last time don't you." "Yes mam" "Good. Now off to work." She sauntered out of the kitchen and I gritted my teeth to keep the thoughts of strangling her away. So let me introduce myself. I am Olivia Mckenna, 17 years old with waist length brown hair and hazel eyes. I am an orphan and currently I am in my foster home. Yes these people are my foster parents but they treat me like a maid and take out their anger on me whenever they feel like it. I have scars and bruises to prove it. Don't think I am stupid and I haven't thought about escaping or something because I have but the problem is these people are filthy rich and that means guards all around the house. They don't even let me talk to anyone and I have a curfew past which I cant even come out of my room. I tried at the beginning to come out but was punished so I learned my lesson. I thought about telling child care services about the abuse but I saw their head at the house receiving a big ass donation from my foster parents so I knew this wasn't an option. I am not submissive and accepted my fate if that's what you are thinking its just I am not stupid. I don't want to risk losing their trust in me and close off all the routes of my escape. Today is the day I will finally be free from this hell hole. I have been planning for this day for months now. Everything is in order and hopefully the plan will go smoothly if not I am so dead but I have to take that chance. I know what kind of guests are coming today. They are coming to buy me. I am no i***t and I learnt to keep my ears open and my head bowed so they won't ever suspect me. To them I am the naïve Olivia who quietly follows everyone's orders. I poured the sleeping potion into the food which I acquired a few months back. This is not strong but will knock them out for a few hours enough for me to escape. I prepared everything and went back to my room and started packing the little things I have. Now I just have to wait. The sound of clock striking 12 brought a smile to my face. It is finally time. Without wasting another second I jumped out of my bed and made my way downstairs carefully listening for any sounds, there were none. I made out of the door and just as I suspected all the guards were sleeping. I quickly made out of the gate and started sprinting towards the woods. They will find me in the city so I will make my way through the woods. I entered the woods and smiled to myself at prospect of starting a new life without all their bullshit.
