Chapter thirty-five
"Have you seen the doctor after Shane was moved to the ER?" Austin asked after a long while, noticing that the doctor was taking so long to come out.
Before Diane could answer, the doctor came out if the emergency room. His head was covered, so were his hands, which were in gloves. Diane ran immediately toward him while Austin glided.
"Are you his guardian?" The bald headed doctor asked, looking from Austin to Diane, and facing no one in particular. While Austin nodded his head, Diane answered in the affirmative.
"He has severe asthma attack. His asthma was triggered because his inhaler was out of reach. If the paramedics hadn't given him a first aid treatment, we could have lost him. He was saved by a hair's breath."
Diane's hands immediately moved to her lips
