Chapter Fifty-two
Austin woke up having a big hangover from having too many drinks the previous night. He woke up a little past the time he usually rose from the bed, except that this time, he met himself at the bar- the last place he'd been the previous night. His head felt a little heavy and he shook it, feeling slight pain right there. He suddenly remembered that he had taken Shane to his room the previous night and he immediately found his way up the stairs to his room to check up on him. To his surprise, however, Shane wasn't there.
Could he be with Diane? She probably came to his room the previous night and found him there. He needed to be sure, so he went straight to her door. He knocked on her door and silence followed from within. The only sounds he could hear were the pounding
