The meeting had revealed everything on Magnus mind to me, I needed to talk to my son to act fast on the wedding. If Laura eventually loses her life after the wedding, he would remain the Alpha of the black pearl pack.
I quickly picked a shirt and wore it, it might be too late to go the next day. I hurried to the pack's main house, hoping to see him alone.
From afar, I saw the both of them sitting on a pavement and admiring the moon glow of the flowers in the garden. I always felt uneasy asking Laura to excuse Max and I for a conversation, it didn't seem like there was any secret between those two.
If Maxwell was alone, she wouldn't know I had a discussion with my son so she wouldn't ask questions later on.
