Chapter 3

People think it's impossible to be betrayed by someone you love, well I'm a witness that you can.

It was Monday, my worst day of the week and my first day as the secretary, I still couldn't get what happened on Saturday with Leon off my mind. I wanted to see him again but I was worried I'll be bothering him so I decided to focus on work.

"Hey." I looked up from the computer to see Ben.

"Care for a little coffee break with me?" Ben asked

"I would love to but my shift isn't over yet," I said, looking back at the computer. Ben laughed.

"Well, I'm giving you an early break." I looked at him and smiled.

"I guess I could take a break for at least five minutes." I stood up to follow him but my phone rang.

"Wait a minute, I have to take this." I picked up the phone to check the caller, it was Sandra, Sandra barely called me unless it was serious.

"Hey, Sandra, what's up?"

"Alexia, what did you do to Leon after your date?" I paused at the question before answering.

Chapter 4: A secret revealed

"Nothing, why?"

"You're being summoned by the Omitron for trial." She said with a panicked voice.

"Wait, what for," I asked confused.

There was a long silence that I thought she had hung up until she finally spoke.

"I don't know everything but I think Leon was beaten up badly after your date that day." then she hung up, I could tell she was angry, I was curious, whoever it was that beat Leon, I was gonna make them pay, little did I know I was a fool. Ben could see I was in shock so he said I could leave if I wanted to, I didn't even wait for another second, I immediately picked up my bag and headed for my car, I was about to drive to the mansion when I remembered that I could flash myself to the Omitron island.

I tried, thinking it won't work but I saw myself in the Omitron's room with all the members and Leon at the corner, badly beaten. Seeing him like that made my eyes well up with tears but as I was about to get close to him, someone stopped me with the words.

"What did you think you're doing." I turned around to see a man with a scary aura, "he must be the rumored Vane, the one second in power" I thought to myself. I opened my mouth to speak. "I wanted to….."

"Shut up, you beat him up like this and now you pretend to be innocent, how cowardly of you." I was shocked beyond belief.

"I did what?" I looked at Leon but he refused to look at me and that's when I realized I had been framed but why and how could Leon do this to me, I just stood there thinking of what had happened, when Savita appeared in n his seat.

"I don't have a lot of time, what's going on here?" He said coldly, Before I could think of what to say Leon stood up, and he hesitated before speaking "Your Honor, I have come to lay my complaint."

Savita looked at him with cold eyes. "Go on."

"I, Leon of the crimson pack, was abused by the present leader of the rose pack."

"Care to explain son of crimson."

"She abused me on allegations that I was a human, an outcast, and an insult to the werewolf ecosystem," Leon said facing the ground.

"And Alexia, what is your say about this?" I was still upset and in shock at what was going on and all I could do was nothing. I just looked at Savita and shook my head, no matter what I say, no one will believe me, I mean Leon was badly beaten and he pointed at me, I didn't have any evidence to prove my innocence.

"Then I declare Alexia Rose guilty and as for her punishment." He hesitated for a bit and looked at my mum and brother, they didn't look happy rather they looked sad and disappointed.

"I strip you of your position as pack leader, you will be an outcast to the werewolf ecosystem and stripped of your abilities." Immediately he said that I felt my whole world crumbling, how could I have been so stupid to believe Leon would love me?

"You are dismissed," Savita said before flashing me to the mansion, I saw myself in front of the door, I tried flashing back but my abilities were gone, So I went inside to see my belongings were already packed up. Sandra and Mary were standing next to them, I didn't know what to do, I just sat on the bench and cried, yes for the first time since I was six years old, I cried. They waited for me to calm down when I eventually did Mary spoke. "I've already rented an apartment for us to stay in." I looked at her.

"What do you mean by us? They didn't put you in exile too, right?" I asked with fury in my eyes.

"No, they didn't, I'm following you on f my own accord."

"Wait you're what…….." Tears welling up in my eyes, I hugged Mary and for the first time, she didn't resist.
