At the impromptu briefing called by Ross, the whole team appeared galvanised by having something they could at last get their teeth into.
Ross had invited both DCI Agostini and, to the surprise of some of the team, DCS Hollingsworth to be present. As she'd been in charge of the initial stages of the investigation while Agostini was away on holiday, Ross felt it politic to include an invitation for her to be there, but, privately, he was somewhat surprised by the fact that she'd actually turned up with little more than half an hour's notice.
