The call from Serge Bleriot came at just the right time as far as Andy Ross was concerned. He'd just returned to his office after being called to a meeting with DCI Oscar Agostini and DCS Sarah Hollingsworth. Although everyone was fully aware that Ross and his team were doing all they could, the fact that the Chief Constable was regularly asking Hollingsworth for updates meant the murder at St. Emma's was attracting more attention than usual from on high, and Hollingsworth had made it clear that progress was expected sooner rather than later.
