Chapter 30
No matter what Daniel did, how hard he fought, he was being pushed away from the portal. It was incredibly frustrating, especially as he only faced brachens. The catch was he faced what felt like a sea of them. He’d tried working his way left and right, but the numbers were too great. It was like facing a wall. There was no way around them.
A deep roar shook his body. Looking up he saw a vorg making its way toward the portal, its massive body easily visible above the sea of brachens between it and Daniel. He glared at it, anger pouring through him with nowhere to go. It didn’t actually look that far away. Far less for a creature like that which could just step over the brachens.
