Chapter 6 “At the end of this corridor we go left,” said Daniel. “Then the room we need is around thirty paces down and on the right.” He glanced back to check that Sarah and Mary weren’t falling behind. They weren’t. Sarah nodded sharply. Daniel turned his attention back to the way they were going. Something was nagging at him. Something felt wrong, but he couldn’t place what it was. As they drew closer to the corridor’s end the feeling grew. When they were only half a dozen paces away Daniel stopped suddenly. “What’s wrong?” asked Sarah. Daniel held his hand up, listening hard for a moment, which confirmed his fears. “The corridor isn’t empty. There are people in it, quite a few I think. I’m not certain whether they are in the direction we need to go, but if they aren’t it
