There was silence again in the midst of us. I was out of ways on how to divert the tension that was still present between Brent and Reed.
I didn't have any idea why was Reed acted that way.
"That mysterious boy likes you, Alliyah," Nicole interrupted. "I guess he was the reason why you are feeling uncomfortable with Brent."
I didn't think so. I was sure that the old me liked Brent so much.
"Why don't you look at Brent's past or that mysterious boy's past again?" Nicole suggested. "Maybe you can think of that very past that will lead you there. I guess that's how your power works."
'Power? Are you kidding me?' I asked Nicole with doubt in my heart.
"Yes, that kind of thing is call power that I can't do," Nicole answered confidently like she was so sure about what she just mentioned.
