Reclaiming My Life: The Blinded Luna Strikes Back

The Pack headquarters was silent in the dead of night. My breathing was rapid, and blood was dripping down my skin, soaking my clothes.  My feet fluttered on the carpet, and the drops of blood on the ground were like an angry warning, telling me that everything was beyond redemption. I was covered in scars all over. Last night, in order to save the Alpha, Caden Westbrook, I alone led away the assassination operation of the hostile Rebellion Pack. At that time, I thought that everything I did for him would eventually earn a response and a trust. Now, standing at the door of his office, I find myself completely wrong. Through the half-open door, I heard his deep voice interwoven with another she-wolf's light laugh. That voice was all too familiar to me - it was Ava, Beta , one of the members of the Wolf tribe whom I once regarded as friends and companions. “You are really becoming more and more charming.” Ava's voice was sweet, interspersed with a teasing tone, as if nothing had ever happened. Alpha Caden's voice was deep and lazy, as if he were enjoying all of this. “You know, I've been tired of her for a long time.” Alpha Caden's cold voice rang out, "I didn't completely abandon Seraphina because she was my Mate and the Council elder." At that moment, it seemed as if the whole world had fallen silent. I stood there motionless at the door, my heart feeling as if it had been crushed by some heavy object, unable to breathe. I pushed the door open forcefully. Immediately, a strong smell of alcohol and perfume hit me in the face, so intense that it made me want to vomit. On the sofa, Alpha Caden and Ava were entangled with each other, hugging and kissing, while I, standing before them, was like an insignificant prey. I said nothing, just lowered my head, feeling completely humiliated from the inside out. "Alpha Caden!" I gritted my teeth and almost squeezed out these two words through the gaps between them. Have all the people from the Rebellion Pack been diverted?” At that moment, I could hardly believe his words. He showed no concern for me at all, and such a shameless expression appeared on his face. My eyes were pricked by the light and felt a little moist. Ava smiled even more smugly, closing in step by step, and contemptuously lifted my chin: "Why pretend to be pitiful? When you were a hostage for Alpha Caden back then, weren't your eyes in such good condition?” I suddenly had a sharp pain in my head. In the k********g case three years ago, I was taken hostage instead of Alpha Caden. If you keep making a fuss, I'll make you disappear completely.  Alpha Caden said coldly, her tone devoid of any emotion. He pressed the bell on the table and a Warrior in a black uniform came in. Take her away. I was coldly dragged away by Warrior, with almost all my strength drained. My eyes began to blur. Blood dripped onto the carpet and I felt like I was about to fall. But no matter how I struggled, I was always powerless. Thrown into the solitary confinement room, I curled up in the corner in pain. The intense pain on my ribs almost made it impossible for me to breathe. Last night's assassination hurt two of my ribs, and today's betrayal has completely broken me down. I tried hard to hold back my tears, unable to believe that all this could happen to me.
