Chapter 24 “Do you like the monsters?” asked the wizard. Sean glanced at the pile of dead creatures next to him. He and Dane sat on the filthy concrete floor, wrists and ankles duct taped, the stench of death thick in the air back here in the darkest area of the storage shed. Flies buzzed over the bodies, and liquid seeped from the bottom of the pile. The smell was stomach-churning, and Sean still felt so shitty from forcing himself to heal Dane without experience or efficiency that it was all he could do to keep conscious. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the metal wall. “The f**k are you even doing with all these cryptids? Some of this s**t shouldn’t even be here. That dead water hound’s not from this continent.” Sean cracked an eye to see what he was talking about
