The hunter luna

CHAPTER 11

:

The next morning Alpha Damien mind linked his beta and third in command to come to his office, it was important, was all he told them and they rushed to his office.

“Hey man what’s wrong” Jason said with worry as soon as he entered Damien’s office.

Another man entered the room with him but he stayed quiet. He was around the same height as Jason but his hair were lighter and his eyes more of a dark brown

“Semeli Hunter is my mate” he stated cutting into the chase

“We already know that” the man who was quiet before now spoke.

“I know you know Will but there is more” This shut both men up and they waited for their Alpha to continue.

“Yesterday she beat up Roxana” just by the name both men flinch. Roxana was the pack slut and she tried to seduce Jason on multiple occasions but he was loyal to his mate. That didn't stop her and she caused so much trouble at the beginning of his relationship with his mate. She was a horrible woman with no morals; she just wanted to be in power.

“She almost killed her” both men smirked clearly hoping she would have succeeded.

“I felt the distress of the pack, a hunter so close to our territory leaving inside our house and threatening them on multiple occasions.”

“She is a handful,” Jason said and heard a low growl coming from Damien.

“I am sorry alpha” Jason said and bow his head indicating he didn't mean to offend his mate.

Damien sigh and run his hand through his hair, a movement he does when he is under a lot of stress.

“She is I know, but yesterday I hurt her both physically and verbally. I said some words that I so much regret now and it clearly hurt her. She may not know we are mates but the bond is strong and I could feel how broken she felt hearing those things. She is so cold because someone hurt her in the past, Lily reminded her of that, thats the reason she acted the way she did. I don't know what happened to her thats all I could figure out so far” He said and sat down, his eyes full with regret.

Both men in front of his sigh in unison. They both had mates and they knew what he was going through.

“She wanted to leave today and take Lily with her” he said his voice was above a whisper.

“What? no she cant take her, Daisy will be devastated” Jason yelled, worrying about his mate.

Daisy loves the little girl as her own and its true she argued with other she-wolves and other pack members many times due to the way they treated her. If the hunter girl takes Lily with her she will be broken and he wouldn't allow his mate to feel like that.

“I know, I made a deal with her and manage to convince to stay for one more week”

“What kind of a deal” Jason and Will spoke in unison again

“It’s not important now, the important thing is to find a way to steal her from her husband and made her stay here with me”

“Dude this didn't sound wrong at all” Will said chuckling on his alpha childish words

“I know but ughh” he reply in frustration

“I just want her to be near me to be able to hold her and give her the love she deserves but I cant do that. Especially when she is engage to this Sam guy” he spat his name

“So what is the plan?” Will asked before he was interrupted by a concern Jason.

“Wait… if she stays for a week then Daisy will have to stay longer away from me” he said more to himself than the rest of the guys in the room.

“I am sorry Jason” Damien was all he could say.

“I can ask Alpha Max to allow you to stay with your mate in his pack. But if my mate decides to stay she will eventually have to meet her.” Jason sigh he knew what his alpha told him its true. He can keep her away for a short time without explaining why but if the hunter will be their luna she will eventually have to come back home to meet her.

“Daisy has a mind of her own, I think its better to just let her come home before she senses something is off and hell breaks loose” Will stated and it was true.

Daisy, is pregnant and more emotional than before, maybe he can assign guards to watch her at all time or better he can be with his beautiful mate at all times, at least Alpha Damien can do that if he wants his help with his plan.

“Okay Jason, you can do your beta duties as long as they wont hold you away from your mate in exchange for your help” he answered like he was reading his thoughts.

“Deal” Jason reply instantly grinning and with that, both men share a handshake closing their deal.

After the meeting in Alpha’s Damien office Jason went over to his room to call his mate. When she answered the phone she was sobbing and his heart start beating faster than usual. Worry start forming in his head as he had thought a million scenarios that may happened to his mate. He couldn't feel the oxygen flowing through his lugs.

“What’s wrong baby? Are you hurt? is the baby okay? where are you? who made you cry?” he start shooting one question after the other. but he shut up as soon as he heard her voice.

“No one hurt me or the baby, I just miss you.” was all she said and his wolf calmed down.

“I cant stay here any longer, I miss you so much it hurts” she start crying again.

“It’s okay baby” he cooed. “I will come pick you up, how does this sound?” he said and she felt her smiling from happiness through their shared bond.

“I will wait for you my mate” she said and his wolf purr in delight.

He thought he could last been away from her for at least a week but guess his plans changed. His mate is coming home, if the hunter stays and accept Damien she will be their luna. She will be obligated to protect their pack member but he couldn't shake his worries away. What if she hurt his mate? then hell will break loose that was sure.

“I need to keep her away from her until she becomes our luna” he said to his wolf and he agreed.
