Chapter 37 I woke up the following day to the lingering scent of sage, which lightened the depression only a tad. After brushing my teeth, I dragged myself downstairs, spread my yoga mat by the bay window in the living room. Then I did three sun salutations and, a quick chakra balance meditation that lasted a few minutes. While having breakfast of toaster waffles, syrup, and a cup of coffee, I stared at the spot where Lynette stood. That heavy, grave vibe left the house. After eating, I brought my breakfast dishes to the sink, then went upstairs and showered. Throwing on black yoga pants and a plain, slim black t-shirt with a sweetheart neckline, I was ready to take on the day. Settling on the couch with the TV volume down low, I skimmed my daily agenda, and called the lawyer first.
