Chapter 31: His home
He looked at me and said, “are you coming, my pet?” “I can come to your home!” I asked excitedly. He gave a small laugh and held out his hand. “I did invite you to live with me there, did I not?” Grinning, I took his hand and let him help me up. Amdis told me to go pack while he went and spoke with our boss to explain. I grabbed my things, cuddly kitten included, and after throwing everything into my bag, I went back downstairs to wait for Amdis. He came back out of the office and walking past me, said, “are you ready?” “Yes,” I replied and rushed to follow him outside and towards the car park. As always, he opened my door for me and I said, “you know you don’t have to always do that for me, right?” “I know, but I like doing it.” Smiling I got in and put my seat belt on. “
