Dravon's POV.
Dressed in silver armor, my armor adorned my face. The soldier gene in me reflected, about to activate. My sword hung to my faulds.
My mind swiftly drifted to Sera. The lady I almost took her life in three seconds, rented a space in my heart.
I didn't take a moment to care about Cyrene, all my mind was is Seraphine. I assigned maid to her and gave her quarters.
“Lord Dravon. Lord Dravon." Kael called me twice before I came out of thoughts.
" I am all hears kael. Sorry I didn't answer quickly.” I blinked countless.
"Our soldiers are ready. We have gotten the map to the treasure.” He views and left.
" I smiled looking at my reflection. I can fight to win the treasure, once victorious, power will be bestored.
I exit my chambers.
All soldier's bowed before me, their helmets wool dazzling with the air.
“At your service my Lord." They all echoed.
I yanked my sword out of my Seath. Admiring the the enchantment of the sun.
“We fight for the kingdom till victory is ours." I raised my voice, first time.
" Yes my lord.” They bowed.
I climbed my horse and start off, I rode till I got to duskborn woods, images of Seraphine flooded my mind.
How much she would have suffered. Would Seraphine accept me even if I propose to her.
After an hours of horse ride and few stopby, I reached dunbok. The serpent cave of hidden treasures.
My heart raced with excitement, so excited my heart raced like it wanted to burst out of my chest.
I started chanting spells of the ancient sentinels, so the serpent would glide it's mouth wide.
Out in sight, something whistled, sharp and wrong, I burnt instincts as a burning shaft screamed past. Heat kissed my face seconds before I saw it, orange flames ignited in the air. It fell off the serpent’s teeth. It resisted the arrows thrust.
I turned, with a frowning face. Who could have dared challenge the ruthless Alpha?
I see army of soldiers coming afar. Each ride horses, brandising sword at me.
“Arghhhh!" I groaned.
Fire arrows came from my side, attacking them. My armor is the only shield protecting.
I hit my sword on Austin's. We glared deeply at each other. Yanking swords away. I waved it at his waist, he dodged. His good at dodging I am best at fighting.
He leapt skywards adjacent to my chest.
"Ouch!” He ounced on me before I could wave his tricks.
Blood splashed on my face.
Kael?
Kael was diced by a sword. He bellied his eyes, hardly believed what happened. He almost squat, the pain intensified.
“Kael Volvok. Stay still. You can't die. Summon courage. You have to. Don't let Valdrakon down." I shot an arrow to his opponent and rushed to save him.
“Lord. I will stay till the end. Amira can't bear to watch me die."
His words pierced me deeply more than his wound. Amira, what could be the connection between he and my sister. Or is there something I don't know.
"Lord, I will serve you till the end. Ahhh!" He screamed loudly to gain strength.
He took his heels.
I chanted magical words on the serpent. The mouth glided. Fire goshed out.
Inside was heated and dark. A wood lighted with fire for reflection was hung on the wall.
I lightened the passge, narrow way dark. I turned left, a door was approaching. Brightened with gold. I leaned my palm. The door dashed open. An ancient mystery box, a wide key hole, I sketch my fingers over. The key seems to be elsewhere.
The walls are dull paled, one left shivering, a gold circle. I pushed it open, I saw stones and a red patched purse.
The key jingled inside.
Cold metal bit my palm, I slide the key into the lock, turned it slow until the crack gave away.
Quite heavy to lift, I deepen my head, I saw stairs leading to a place near. I climbed down the stairs, I found another box. Excitement lit me.
A letter, patches of gold, a weapon and a portion.
I stuck the key in my Gauntlets. Made a way out of the cave with the treasure box.
Many bodies laid lifeless. Everywhere flooded with blood. Blood seeped out, it felt unusual. Victory is always ours. We are on the brisk of loosing. Which has never happened.
Austin captured me from behind, tightening my neck. I could hardly breath, I spat out mucous firm my throat.
Fists gripped, he blew a punch me straight in the abdomen. My mouth full of blood, it draped down my jaw line. I feel off, lying in the floor. It's on usual. Just a Punch to a whole Valdrakon Alpha.
The sky went blurr. The treasure disappeared, no where to be found. I bounced in my feet can't afford to I loose my ancestral treasure, kael disappeared also, bodies laid lifeless. Blood filled.
The air whispered something traveling in it. An arrow poked me. I fell off, my soul left my body.
Heaven came, Earth darkened. My eyes snapped open, heart hammering. Hands clawing on the sheets like I wanted to tear it apart. Cold sweat lined my shirt to my back, the room was dark silent, hollow. Nightmare sounds jingling in my ear, my breathe seizing in air for seconds.
Walls seems to move, I tugged my sheets. My body cold like I just came out from ice.
“My Lord, it's time for moon goddess ceremony. Allow the maids dress you up." Kael bowed.
I became short of words. Rubbing my tummy.
" Anything wrong sir?” He raised a brow tilting his head.
" No I am perfectly fine." I answered. “Check on lady Seraphine. Make sure she's arrives in her best attire.” I commanded, gulping a cup of wine.
“Y ..Yes my lord." He stammered few words. "I wi do as said.” He took few steps backwards and left.
Kael seem amazed. The ruthless Alpha suddenly cares about Seraphine who he almost took her life in three seconds.
