Chapter 6

Ben's POV

It's been 4 days since Bailey left. She hasn't responded to any of the messages I've left for her in the classified. She knows to check them and respond everyday, even if everything is fine. I getting very worried something is wrong. I should of went with her.

Grayson has been extremely pissed since he found out she left. He's sent his trackers out 2 days ago to find her, but they are confused because they sense her going in 3 different directions.

Atta girl Bay, I think to myself with pride. My sister is very smart. Which is why I'm so worried about her right now. She wouldn't do anything reckless, so the fact that she hasn't responded to the articles yet means something had happened.

I know the trackers haven't found her yet, if they had, Grayson would be in a better mood.

The day after she left, Grayson naturally questioned me about her whereabouts. I honestly didn't know where she went so he could sense I was telling the truth when i told him that. He's made me call her cell phone in front of him and on speaker,but since i broke her phone it goes straight to voicemail. A couple trackers found her phone and Grayson got so mad, he threw it against the wall, finishing the job I started.

The alpha from Summit on the other hand. He's quiet. Scary quiet. When he does speak, it's to threaten Grayson or the pack. Today is no different. I'm currently sitting in on yet another meeting with Grayson and the alpha and beta from Summit.

"Alpha Michael, I assure you my trackers are the best there is. It's only a matter of time until she's found." Grayson said.

" Yes, you've been saying that. For days now." Michael replied. "I was under the impression that you had control over your pack,Grayson. Perhaps I've made a mistake in forming an alliance with Red River."

"Listen here, Michael. I never had a problem with Bailey disobeying an order until you insisted on marriage to her" Grayson fired back.

Well so much for formalities.

Michael suddenly stands up and looks at Grayson.

"If she's not found in one week, not only will I terminate this alliance, I'll terminate this pack." Michael stated before he stormed out of Grayson's office with his beta following behind him slamming the door shut.

Grayson leans back in his chair with his hands on his face. He suddenly sits forward and glares at me.

"Where is she Ben?" He asks for the hundredth time.

"I don't know Alpha.I haven't heard from her" I replied. It is the truth,which is what has me worried. I need to get to get out of this office and try and find out what happened to her.

"You are her brother! Her twin at that" he shouted back to me. " You two always go everywhere together. you expect me to believe she didn't tell you anything?"

"You believe what you wish Alpha, but I don't know where she is" I say back with a glare. I'm not afraid of Grayson. Most of the pack is, but I'm not. So what if he sends me to the stalls.

"Would you even tell me if you did know?" he asks defeated.

I suddenly got a great idea. It'll give me a chance to find out what happened to Bailey without Grayson following me,while looking like I'm trying to help him.

"What if i went looking for her?" i asked.

"What?" Grayson laughed. "You expect me to trust that if you did find her, you'd tell me?"

"What I expect, Alpha, is that you put the sake of this pack first." I shot back at him "Summit just threatened us and you sat there like a coward"

Grayson shot out of his chair and gripped me by my throat and shoved me up against the wall growling at me. I just stared back at him. Like I said, I'm not afraid of him.

"You said it your self. I'm her twin. which means I know her better than anyone. I'll be able to find her" I say to him.

I can see he's thinking about it. He slowly releases his hold on my throat and backs up a little. He runs a hand through his hair while he keeps thinking.

"Fine. You can go look for her,but you better not double cross me Walker. I'll see to it you'll regret it." he stated.

Such a weak threat from a weak alpha. I couldn't be bothered with that Right now. I leave his office with one goal on my mind. Find Bailey.
