Leila Black

Chapter 2:

After lunch I head to my room to unpack and shower because I really needed one today. My hair was disgusting after having many days of just using dry shampoo and honestly I needed to shave. So I unpack and freshen up and it feels amazing to have clean hair and freshly shaven legs. Afterwards I head downstairs to find everyone in the common room the guys are playing games while the ladies sit together talking and playing with the kids once I enter the kids run and tackle me asking for their gifts I laugh softly "ok ok" I always bring them something even if it was as small as some candy they were so thrilled but this time I got them each their favorite toys to play with. After handing them out I sit by Alaia she smiles "u spoil them too much" I shrug "aw what are aunts for besides gotta stay the favorite aunt Leila." She laughs and shakes her head.

While the kids play we ladies catch up I ask how things with the pack has been going for them and I tell them about school not that it was that interesting anyways "yeah we don't do much yet but this year I'm hoping is better now that I'm in medical school" Taylor smiles “it’s good to see you doing something you love Leila” I nod and smile “thanks Tay, it is really good getting to see all of you guys again I have missed being home” “and we have missed you” I hear an older more elegant type voice say I turn my head and see my parents standing in the doorway I run and hug them “mom! Dad!”  my mom smiles “Leila you look good! When did you get in?” I smile “just this morning I was just about to call you guys” “oh don’t give us that mush” my dad laughs I smile and hug him “oh dad your a dork” he laughs Xander walks over smiling “I called them to come over and have dinner with us” I grin “thanks Xan” he messes my hair before dad pulls him aside to talk alpha stuff mom smiles “your dad misses it sometimes being alpha” “yeah but Xander is doing a good job dad taught him well” she nods and takes my arm as we head back to the ladies.

We sit and talk some more. The guys join us and the kids continue to play. Mrs. Dyson comes and let's us know Dinner was ready we all Jump up and head to the dining room the kids sit at the small kids table beside ours Xander sits at the head of the table Alaia to his left and Lex to his right everyone else files into their spots I sit by Morgan and Kade. Mrs. Dyson and some other omegas come out with tacos. I grin "mmmm…..tacos my favorite food!" She laughs softly "I even have your favorite toppings today" "oh Mrs. Dyson your amazing" I smile and we all dig in I mean u would think she was feeding a bunch of animals *pun intended*

After dinner everyone went about doing their own things and I went to my room to work on some homework I needed to finish by next weekend. I am sitting back against the wall, my legs propped up holding my laptop as I have a notebook beside me and my medical books all around me on the bed. My hair was up in a bun and I wore some blue light filter glasses because staring at a screen killed my eyes even being a wolf I still hated it. I chew on my pencil and flip through some books as a knock comes on my door, “yeah” I mumble to whomever it was and they open the door I hear a soft deep chuckle and look up to see Xander standing in my doorway.  “Just came to make sure you were still alive you disappeared after dinner” I laugh and sit back “yeah I have some homework to finish and had to email those notes to Jessica” he walks in and sits beside my bed “so tell me about this Jessica girl and do I need to take care of her?” I laugh and shake my head, “no she isn’t anything to worry about just some popular girl who got in because her dad paid her way in she isn’t even smart like she is dumber than a bag of rocks but she is smart in ways of manipulation I can tell you that. She will do anything….or anyone to get her way hence why she uses my wolf as a way to get my notes or cheat off of me” he sighs “Leila you can’t keep letting her do that I don’t want you getting in trouble with the school.” “I know Xan but it’s either let her do that or have her tell the whole school about me I don’t want to risk the pack either you know I would do anything to protect the pack,” he nods and hugs me “just be careful please” I hug back and smile “I will” he smiles as he pulls away. “Oh Angelica wanted you to tuck her in” I jump up “then let's go!” he laughs and takes me to her room.

I walk into Angelica’s room as Alaia and Lex are trying to get her to bed. I laugh softly “I hear someone wants their aunt Leila” she squeals and runs over to me. I pick her up and smile. “Alright kiddo let’s get you to bed” I say and kiss her nose she frowns “awww but I wanna play” I smile and lay her down “we can play tomorrow ok but only if you go to sleep” I hold my pinky up “promise” she grab mine with hers “promise” she says in her sweet voice. I tuck her in and stand we all walk out i turn her light off closing the door Alaia smiles, “how are you so good with them she is never that easy to get to sleep” I shrug, “what can I say I love kids” I smile “I just can’t wait to have my own……someday” she hugs me and smiles “you will one day now let’s go get some wine” she takes my arm I laugh “oh no I have homework” she looks at me “well then as you Luna you’re to come get wine with me and the other ladies” I laugh “ok that’s not fair” she grins and we head to the kitchen where we sit and have some wine and talk for hours.
