Unknown POV Well, that hadn’t gone well. I eased the bike off the road and into a wooded area behind an abandoned warehouse just outside of Santa Clarita. Things rarely went well when you didn’t have a plan and I hadn’t bothered to make one beyond the acquisition and disposal of the bike. I had been driven by rage, by the need to stick that blade into her flesh and watch the light leave her eyes. Damn, I wanted that b***h dead! I gritted my teeth against the urge to scream my frustrations. Acting on impulse fueled by emotions led to mistakes and I’d just made my first. I couldn’t afford to make anymore.
