I woke up to Lira knocking on the door and calling my name.
"Come in" I said and sat up in bed.
She walked in carrying a tray of tea and smiled at me.
"Kael said you need to learn about royal duties today" Lira said "so I am here to teach you"
"Royal duties" I repeated "like what"
"Like how to run a kingdom" Lira said "and how to deal with nobles and politics and all the boring stuff that comes with being queen"
We sat in the sitting room and Lira started explaining things that made my head hurt.
"First you need to know which nobles can be trusted" she said "and which ones will smile to your face while plotting behind your back"
