I called Lira to my study the moment I left Thorne's cell and showed her the list of names he had given me.
"This cannot be right" she said and stared at the paper "Commander Rodrik has been with us for twenty years"
"I know" I said "but we need to verify everything quickly"
"How do you want to do this" Lira asked.
"We arrest them all at midnight" I said "quietly and separately so they cannot warn each other"
"That is only three hours from now" Lira said "can we organize that fast"
"We have to" I said "the blood moon is in three days and I cannot risk having traitors in the palace when we take Elvanya to the ritual site"
