Elvanya's Pov
I woke up screaming and Kael's arms were around me immediately.
"It is okay" he said "you are safe and it was just a dream"
But it did not feel like just a dream because it felt real and I could still see Kael's face as I killed him with my own hands.
"What did you dream about" Kael asked and brushed the hair out of my face.
"I dreamed I killed you" I said and started crying "during the awakening and the power took over and I could not stop it and I killed you"
"That is not going to happen" Kael said firmly.
"How do you know" I asked "what if I cannot control the power and what if the prophecy is right and I destroy everyone"
"The prophecy gives you a choice" Kael reminded me "and I know which choice you will make"
"But what if the choice is not really mine"
