Chapter 72

We returned home after that and we are inside the car right now putting our things in the back, dad sent a service for us to get home. Once we are done, we got inside the car and the driver already started the engine and we are ready to take off. We took our seats.

“Is everything okay ma’am?” our driver asked as he looks on the mirror to see us, and me as an intellect knowing that he sees me, I just nodded at him and he pressed his feet on the acceleration pedal, and we took off. I closed my eyes.

The mission failed, that day we reported that we lose 3 great men on the battlefield in exchange of hundred casualties. We reported that the Shinigami took all of them, not directly on the other two, but the Shinigami is the main reason why everything went into chaos.

Once we get home, I will inform my dad about his dangers that he poses to us, I don’t know what to say anymore but I need to tell him that as soon as possible after his meeting.

My injuries are completely healed by now and what’s left for me, is to convince dad, that I am ready to engage in battle, but what happened recently, I am sure that he is traumatized to see me again like that, so there is plenty for me to do some proving my worth to get into the battle again.

Not long have passed when we reached the mansion, the guards opened the gates for us and we get inside. There is still a lot of things for us to do, but when I got out of the car, my main priority, is to get inside my room as fast as possible.

I said my regards towards Alexis as she heads to her own room. I carried my own bag, as I refused one of our men’s offer of assistance, I ran towards my room and as soon as I got inside of my room. I put the bag on the floor and immediately opened my pc, the lights turned off, and it only took a couple of seconds to boot.

While the pc is doing its thing when I open it, I head straight to the bathroom and once again cleaned myself, to refresh myself. This is the best time to take a cold shower and considering how high the temperature is right now.

This is that time of the year, when the sun is at its hottest towards earth, like a guy impressing a very hot lady they took interest of, in the beach.

Well, I opened my air conditioner and its coldest temperature because my room was left unattended for a long time. The maids are cleaning my room so, despite of my absence it is not very dusty. I prefer to do my own cleaning.

Then, I put some things to their rightful places, and I cannot blame the maids because they never really get inside of my room, as I forbid them to enter and only me and Alexis is allowed to get in here without my permission.

“Everything is all set,” I said to myself while I dry my hair and observe my room. “Oh,” then I remember my training room, I wonder if the maids know about it, I head towards the button that opens it and I pressed it. The door that leads to my room opened and saw that the room is very dusty.

I guess I am not still done yet, I still have so many cleaning to do, I grabbed my own vacuum cleaner and changed my attire to my cleaning attire to avoid getting my clothes dirty along the process.

I get inside of the training room and I started cleaning the mess, that was left unattended here for a very long time. This will not take long, as the dust build up is not that worse, and technically it is still okay even I don’t clean it up right now, but I can’t stand it. I want every corner of my room, at its cleanest state.

After a few moments of cleaning, everything is all set, so I put the vacuum cleaner from where I took it and put my cleaning attire to its place. The room is getting cool right now, and I put my curtains on the windows to prevent the light from getting inside. That’s all good.

Now the room is dark and cool, then I grabbed my remote to my lights installed inside this room right now, and pressed the on button. All the rgb lights installed in this room turned on with a red color doing their own play, as they are not still and to make the sight more wonderful, not just a plain sight to my eyes.

Dad will get home at night and it is still 12 noon, so that means that I have plenty of time to play games and enjoy my time. It’s been so long since I last played, yes 3 weeks is very long for me without touching my computer.

My pc is already turned and all the apps that opens by itself is already turned on. I took my seat on my ergonomic gaming chair and rested my back to its soft composition. When I am all comfy, I grabbed my mouse and navigated my arrow button towards the apps that are opened.

First the messages that were left unattended and I opened my social media accounts to just check what is going on... as expected there are so many notifications in every account I opened and there are so many messages that are waiting to be opened.

But... I only find the messages of one person, my gaming buddy, Reikou... due to so many people messaging me, it gave me a hard time to find his name on my friction account, which is a gaming chatting app, that is created mainly to connect every gamer, in the community.

I am pretty popular in the gaming community too, and most of the ones that messaged me here in friction, some are worried and some are inviting me to join online tournaments that offers collectable prizes that we are aiming for, and obviously that already passed.

Oh finally! I found his friction account and my eyes widened as I am very surprised on how many messages that he sent me, 203 unread messages, this my boys, is dedication. This will take me a long time to read these messages. So I pressed a tab that say 200+ messages are unread, and that brought me to the top where he started messaging me.

At first, he is trying to ask, how my trip went along, as he is already done with theirs. Then he invites me to play, and yeah for a couple of days he tried to message me inviting me to a game, then after a week had passed, he started to worry over me, and the last messages that he sent to me was yesterday. Obviously, I am touched by his dedication.

I can truly say that he is a good friend and is truly worth keeping.

After, reading all the messages that he sent me, I started typing my reply towards him.

“Hey, what’s up, I am touched by all of this messages, ‘:), I appreciate it, unfortunately there are some bad things that happened during out trip,” and I accidentally pressed the enter button.

That will send the message to him and that will notify him. So, I pressed on the chat tab again as quick as possible and I am in panic state right now.

“That’s why we are delayed for weeks to get home, but still here I am still in one piece,” giving him a hint about on who really am I. “If you are free right now, we can play, I will wait for your reply for a couple of minutes in case that you reply back,” I added and entered that button. “I’ll be waiting, :,>,” I added and sends it to him.

Almost immediately the blank circle in besides of his ign turned green, and I chuckled to see that he noticed that instantly. Did he put me in priority persons in his account? This dude... well, I he is a great friend, I let it pass.

To give back the courtesy top him, I made his name to be one of my priorities, in my priority person list. What this do, is that once they messaged me, they will be pinned on the top so that I cannot miss their messages and even my app is muted, their messages will still notify me.

That’s explanation that I can think of right now, on why he is responding to my messages, almost as immediately.

Then I saw his name typing a reply towards me. I waited for and rested my back on my chair again.

Then a notification sounded, it was him sending me a message.

“That’s great to hear! :D,” he sends to me, then I was about to reply when the app showed me again that he is typing a message for me again. So, I back off and waited for him to send me a reply again. “Can you wait for a couple of minutes, I really want to play with you ‘:D,” he said and I chuckled. “I am currently busy right now but almost done, just a couple of minutes promise,” he chatted again.

“Okay no problem XD,” I replied back. “I’ll wait for you,” I added. He is a sweet guy. So, I opened a streaming website and decided to watch some videos while I wait for him.
