19 left and the 2nd ring just closed and I am only 200 meters away from the safe zone, that anonymous just save me a lot of time. When I heard that announcement earlier from the announcers, I got motivated to aim for the 3rd place. I don’t want to get my hopes too high. Just the 3rd will do since I am curious with the special price that they are talking about.

Since I am qualified on the 2nd round now, I don’t want to feel so much pressure and now I can play my style without fear losing that card. There is a high cliff up ahead, I could go there and use that as my sniping spot for later, in case there are enemies running around this place. I don’t want to encounter that Anonymous just yet, since if I face him this soon, I cannot imagine myself reaching the top 3 in this battle royale if I see him. Remember what I said earlier? That video games limits the physical capabilities of our character, well, that guys just broke that rule. I cannot imagine how he killed 6 people in an instant.

Once I reached the top side of the cliff, I quickly switched my main weapon to sniper rifle and there I repaired my armor with armor pads and heal myself. I inspected the whole area for any minimal movements that I can spot and when confirmed that the area is clear, I opened my inventory tab to check what did I got from that crate earlier.

A camouflage suit, just what like I said earlier, still nice, 8x scope for my sniper, nice, I replaced the current scope of my sniper by dragging it onto the scope tab which replaced my 4x scope. I wore the level 4 helmet which will protect me from any headshots from enemies. The rest are to upgrade my weapon specifications. But the most win that I got earlier, it’s the silencer, I can kill people in a far distance without them knowing my location.

Oh… What a luck day, I saw some running in the open fields running inside the safe zone, I followed him with my scope because there are so many obstacles that he can use for cover. I will wait him to reach the grassy part where trees and boulders are far away from him, and before he reaches that place, he is already dead.

Just 5 meters more… BOOM! Another notification just appeared in my screen.

That was a cringy IGN (In Game Name) if you ask me. That turned up my kill count to 6, which I am happy about. I am doing very good so far, I really can’t let that anonymous to ruin my progress in this game. With that feat that he pulled off earlier, my guess is that the rest of the players alive are coming after him since I think that they also aim for the first place after that announcement.

Well I don’t have any reasons to play this safely anymore, I feel like that I am an unchained beast. I will take advantage of that situation if my guess is right and if he is killed in the process no matter who, the rest of them is dead and that 1st place is secure-

My jaw literally dropped, that instant a black and white menu appeared in my screen. Where? When? How? Those questions flooded my mind. It didn’t even let me finish planning my schemes.

You are in 15th place. Do better next time! The menu said along with the exit and spectate button in the bottom.

My mind right now is in a state of greater shock, I can’t comprehend what just happened that time. I felt something touched my shoulders and I quickly turned around to see who touched my shoulder. It was an employee, probably will escort me to the spectators’ room since I am eliminated. I gave him a serious look and I stood up.

No matter, I still qualify for the second round.

“This way miss,” he said to me nervously as he can sense my anger and wise for him to keep his distance away from me since I badly wanted to punch someone right now. My frustration is quelling up inside me and I don’t want people near me when this happens because the line between right and wrong is getting blurry inside me.

We entered a bright room unlike in the stadium where they only shone rgb (Red green blue) lights to produce that gaming ambient, while it is mostly dark. That was the stereotype in gaming settings and people, as well as me, like those kinds of settings.

“Here people, just entered our 15th survivor who just lost the round,” the announcer said, do they really like to rub salt in someone’s wound? Gawd. Better for them that we are separated by thick glass.

“Woah, I recognize her!” the other said. “She is the one who puts up a fight for that spot she liked,” he added. “Ironically, Anonymous is the one she is fighting earlier, I think he wants that revenge for her,” he explained and my eyes widened. ReALly!? The tall guy from earlier. He is anonymous?

“Talk about karma partner,” the other one said. They are really getting into my nerves. I can break that glass if I wanted to just try me. “Now gamers! Let’s watch how anonymous pulled that fantastic shot earlier that ended warfreak101 career for that 1st place,” he added and I turned my attention towards the big screen where they replay the clip highlighting my death.

There was I lying on the ground spying on the running dude earlier that I sniped from the distance.

“After that shot from her, that killed xx_69KiLleR_xx, Anonymous took the shot to bring her down. Now let’s replay that in Anonymous’s perspective,” they replayed my cliff and we saw his point of view from earlier and I observed the clip very seriously because I was determined to know what caused my death. “Now he is also aiming for the same guy, and then warfreak101 got to xx_69KiLleR_xx first, and there we saw how far Anonymous is from her, from my speculations is that he is 800 meters away from her, plus the grass is hiding her, no sound cues just the flash, look at that, inhuman aiming skills!” he shouted after playing the replay.

I was amazed and shocked at the same time. Just like what the announcer said, he only caught a glimpse of my shot’s flash. I stepped on a tripwire by killing that guy, no wonder that he pulled off the 6 killstreaks earlier. We are far away from each other and the guy from earlier is barely visible from his scope like an ant. Anyone who is watching that, is probably rooting for him to hit the 1st place in this round.

“The 2nd ring just closed and the 3rd ring appeared and it’s very small from earlier, her we can see the epic battle of our remaining 10 participants for that 1st place,” the announcer said and the point of view is mostly on anonymous to please the crowd.

Even the players qualified in 2nd round here in the room are also cheering for him right now.

“What a guy right?” someone from behind me said to another participant.

“Yeah what a guy,” the other one replied cheaply and they remained quiet. I stood still watching his gameplay while the camera is rotating to the other player’s point of view, but anonymous is getting a lot of screen time if you ask me.

“Woah! What just happened?!” the announcers shouted in unison as we saw one of the players in the remaining survivor count named Yuri pulled off a 2-consecutive kill for the supply crate that they are battling for earlier.

8 more before the round ends and we proceed to the 2nd round for the card, an hour will pass as the game ends. I did not even notice the time since I am so immersed with the game. I will definitely buy it on its release.

“Congratulations!” a female employee of PCGG just entered the room along with the 2 participants who just got eliminated.

“That was a heck of a shot,” one of the announcers said. “A close buck shot on the two,” he added. “It requites a lot of skill to execute that,” he said wit h amazement in his voice.

“You’re right there Cal,” his partner said. “Yuri is one of the crowd’s favorites that will at least reach the top 3 on this round along with warfreak101 with her incredible mind and gun play from earlier, according to the poll that we launched alongside with the round start,” he said and I felt happy to hear that I am one of the crowd’s favorite. “Unfortunately for her that she encountered anonymous before that happens,” and that took away my temporary happiness that I felt.

They really like rubbing salt in my wound.

I ignored that comment and I continue to watch them play. Another was taken down by Anonymous with a sniper shot in the head and that only leaves 7 participants in the game. Yuri has a close call with Grunt but Yuri still won that round thanks to quick switch with his shotgun to pistol.

I am amazed how Yuri quickly learned the cancel animation in this game, it’s a bug I guess? That cancels the switching animation from the game and that saves him a lot of time. A few milliseconds in that kind of fights are very heavy as it can affect the outcome of the duel. I am impressed nonetheless. Another kill from Yuri and the third ring is closing. Very impressive.

That only leaves 5 participants in the map.

But I think Anonymous, that I will call the tall guy from earlier since I don’t know his name, is not planning to let the match goes on any longer as he shot the two guys consecutively who currently fighting in the distance in the head. He maintained the same position from earlier. A very good sniping spot if you ask me.

Leaving only three of them, but Yuri was killed by YouCan’tSeeMe with a surprise attack in the bushes and he is wearing a camouflage suit that even us, spectators, are not expecting that.

The game ended with Anonymous killing YouCan’tSeeMe with his sniper winning the round.
