“Hey don’t try to start a fight here, remember the taboo,” Alexis reminded me once I reached her after bumping on that guy. He seems so familiar that’s all but I really can’t tell who he is, or did I actually see him somewhere? There is just this feeling inside me that is telling me that I met that guy, but I don’t know.

Argh! This is stressing me out! SO MUCH!

“I just thought that he is familiar,” I said. My inside and outside expression is in irony right now, since I cannot be myself in this place. Alexis is strict on me and I should act moderate in this place like the rest did. She is always reminding me that we are not our territory bla bla bla, who cares? But she will not stop bugging me out so I am forced to bid what she wants. Just for the sake of it.

I went to this place since I want to check out this place bragging worthy features on my social media account. I ran a channel on MeTube vlogging about my trips in this place, and not to boast to all of you, I just have about 21 million followers in my account. So back from what I saying about this place, I learned that they are entirely running on AI and the news that’s been hyping me is the new graphic card grand release in one of the shops inside. I must bid the shop millions of monies so I can just hold on of that must have cards.

I like gaming folks, but I just rarely sit in front of my console and gaming rig, it’s just for me to kill some time if I cannot fall asleep immediately. Technically, I cannot call myself a gamer in other people’s perception but in my own terms, I enjoy so therefore I am a fully pledged gamed. Besides there’s no harm going with the trend.

“Let’s go before the stocks goes out,” I said pulling Alexis that is timid about the whole thing. She just watches me play when she is in my room, and this girl don’t show any enthusiasm to any of my activities just what did she experience from her childhood to be this cold. Whatever, my mission now is to get hold of that card. We put ourselves in line because making trouble here will just kick us out which is much worse.

“What’s so important getting them?” Alexis asked me, she really don’t get it, does she?

“Going with the trend, attracts a lot more people. Eh, whatever you will not get it even I explain it to you,” I told her and I continue to drag her with me, since dad won’t allow it for me to be separated with her, because once I do it on purpose, she will tell dad no matter how I convince her. Just like a robot fulfilling the task of her master’s program. If dad learns about it, he will forbid me to go back here for a certain period of time.

The information will sure fly fast that’s why I gotta act more carefully especially dad is nearby for a meeting that I have no knowledge of. All I want is to have fun in this place and buy that card. Almost all of the gamers in this location right now have their eyes set on that card. This mall right now turned into a battlefield. All of that just for a card. Sounds childish, right? But that is the power of passion towards their hobbies.

I fully understand them since I have a passion that adults think of it as a child activity, a passion where I could not get anything from it. I experienced this once with my dad, where he interfered with my vlogging since it will just put me in danger, and we had a fight. But until now I am completely safe and our enemies don’t know who am I, so I consider myself safe. No assassinations or any surprise attack from them.

Just like that Shinigami that I can’t tell who he really is since he is always wearing a mask that covers his mouth part that has a design of a mouth of Japanese demon, and black glasses that covers his eyes that makes it really hard for us to identify him. But I won’t call him cowards since I do the same thing, just a plain black face mask and a hat that prevents my hair from falling. Everyday I change my hair color so I don’t fear being identified by them. Besides I really like the peace of doing whatever I want in the outside. I don’t plan blowing that up and ruin my plans.

Finally, it’s our turn to get inside, but before that I saw that guy again, the one who bumped into me. He is entering the mall before us, and I have a feeling that he is also aiming for that card, since I got some nerdy vibes from him. I gotta admit that he is handsome and his body is pretty well trained, but still nerdy vibes from him. Trust me, I am accurate at that kind of thing. I can tell what kind of people are they just based on what I feel about them.

Supernatural? Who knows, I can’t tell how also. All I know is that I am always accurate.

When we reached the guard station they asked for our bag and a lady guard checked our bodies but she is lazy enough to feel our shin where we hid our guns. In case something happens, for self-defense. I am completely aware that causing trouble in this place means trouble for our whole gang. So, worry free, I will use this once an enemy pushed us in the corner of our seats.

After I grabbed Alexis’s hand again and we rushed towards the elevator. I rapidly pressed on the button but the doors are taking a while opening it for us so I dragged Alexis once again, who just allows herself to be dragged like a cart. Her speed can match mine, that’s why I am not hesitant to all of this. I am so certain that I cannot hurt her with just this kind of thing. LOL!

We went to crowded escalator where I request permission to people who is ahead of us to let us through, one step a t- oh for the love of gawd! There is a couple standing in front of us which prevented us to pass through, even I excuse myself, they can’t since there is no space left for me to pass through. I groaned and I am forced to wait to reach the top. What else can I do? Except to wait.

The escalator is not that slow moving up, but the whole point of this rush is to get there first- oh wait! What store?! Oh gawd! NO! I don’t have any idea what store is selling that card!

“Alexis!” I called to her and we reached the second floor where most of the computer parts shop is located. She timidly looks at me and I can tell that she is asking me, what’s going on, telepathically. “You have my phone?” I asked her since I don’t carry a single thing in my hands right now. She nodded and pulls out my phone from her packet and gave it to me.

I immediately grabbed the phone and it opened quickly thanks to the face unlocking feature that it had. I opened the browser as fast as I could so I can check my browsing history, what shop did I searched for, but a much better idea pops in my head. I searched for the mall website since it is in their front page, it’s one of the hypes in their grand opening to lure more customers to earn big profits.

“GRX 9090 AVAILABLE ONLY AT PCGG!!!”

PCGG, I turned all around the place to find the logo of the store but I failed to spot it, and I looked at my phone again because it has more information.

“Located at the second floor,” and the next thing that I read triggered my panic. “Only 4 available, first come first serve!”

I locked my phone and ran all around at the second floor to find where is that PCGG located. Only 4 I don’t want to lose hope but… NO! Don’t lose hope. Think of it as treasure hunting and I am the pirate, and the others are the enemy pirate also finding that treasure.

I spotted many others that are running around, they are also looking for the shop. I must hurry there is still hope!

“Alexis,” I called to her and I turned to her to give her my ph-

Alexis? Oh shoot! Where is she? NO! No! nO! Oh gawd no! I separated myself to her. My freedom is a lot more important than that card. Change of goals, must find Alexis before she tells dad.

“ALEXIS!” I shouted and I think that I drew the attention of most people around me but I do not care since my freedom in this place is on the line. Oh I got my phone, I dialed her number and she immediately answer, oh thank the holy one.

“Where are you?” she asked me.

“No, where are you?” I asked.

“Near the escalator,” she answered in a monotone voice.

“Got it!” I ended the call and ran towards the place where the escalator is and when I reached that place. I found her on the spot and I went towards her and grabbed her hand before she can speak anything about my disappearance and my goal finding the PCGG is back again. “Where is that place?!” I grunted still failing to find the place where the card’s store is.

I gradually lose hope to find it because as time passes by, the lesser the chance for me to get one of those priced treasure.

“You mean that crowded place?” I heard Alexis respond to my complain and I look towards her only to see her pointing on to something and I turned my head towards it and saw people crowding on a*****e. I saw a glimpse of 4 big letters that sparked hope once again to me. But was extinguished immediately as I saw people crowding on that place. No more GRX 9090 for me, I guess.

I still walk towards it, it means no harm just to see that card, even a glimpse of it.

“Hey, I heard they held competition for the GRX 9090, for those hardcore gamers,” I heard a man said beside me.

“HEY!” I called to the man and he turned on me. “What’s going on?” I asked.
