Chapter Five: NappyAt first, she is really bored inside the crib all on her own. She's never liked naps even as a child and she doesn't think she wants to take one right now.
She wriggles and moves about unhappily. Chase doesn't come in to check on her and she's sort of grateful for that. It's not that she's scared of him, but she doesn't know him.
She studies her room carefully now that she can see clearly again. There's the play mat in the corner with more toys than she can count, some that are bigger than she is! She has never owned any of her own toys growing up. Everything in the orphanage needs to be shared and they're mostly gross enough that she doesn't want to touch them at all. There are some books there too. She kind of wishes Daddy- the Werewolf, she corrects herself again -
