Chapter 12: Race with Kyo

Kyo’s POV

I have nothing to do today. I am just here in my room, looking at my ceiling and thinking about what I will do, and I am all alone here. Because I have a fantastic family working hard at their own jobs. I have two moms working really hard right now and one sister. My mom is a lesbian married to my mother, a lesbian. We are not adopted; we are their current daughter and son. My sister and I came from my mother's womb, which we call Mom Lara. Mom Avida is busy. She has been in the hospital doing her job since she was a doctor. And my other mom is in her office writing some stories since she is a novelist. And lastly, my sister Lovely is in the station doing her workload. She is a detective. I have decided to go outside since we have no class for today. How about going for a ride? Or maybe I should call Gill and Vyrone? I know they have nothing to do on this day. I should call them right now.

[Yo, bro?] I am calling our group chat, and Vyrone is the only one who answered the call. Gill is out of coverage.

''Where's Gill?'' He has been busy lately, and he is not usually joining us. What's up with him? What is he doing lately?

[I don't know, bro. I think Gill has a girlfriend right now. I saw him with Annie on the street near the school yesterday.] Annie? The woman that I bumped?

''Annie Castro?'' I just want to make sure, since it is impossible. That woman is a shy and modest person.

[Yes, bro. I don't know what happened to Annie and Gill. He seems like a lover boy right now. I think they are dating? Anyways, why do you call?] I almost forgot what I was going to ask for.

''Are you free today? Let's hang up and ride?''

[Actually, I know there is car racing later. My dad has an event about launching new cars to find out which car is faster. It's actually like testing the car's speed, and dad wanted it to be in public. You know publicity.] Vyrone's family owns some vehicles and motors. That's why we become friends and get close to it, because I love collecting some cars or engines, especially if they are vintage.

''I love that, bro. I'm in'' I said

[Okay, see you later. Usually, the event will start at 1pm]

''Okay, got it!'' I ended the call to take care of what I would bring. It's been a month since the last time that I

raced. My parents are okay with it, and they have no problem with that. They want me to explore some things but never get into an accident. That's why I promised them that I should take care of myself if I do some intense activity.

After an hour, I am now on my way to Vyrone's dad's event. One thing about my personality is that I don't want to lose. I always wanted to win and, lastly, enjoy myself as a young person. I received an invitation email for the event. I checked the time, and it was already 12pm. I need to go to the shortcut to be there on time. I drove my car as fast as I could. After 30 minutes, I am here. Less traffic since I use the shortcut road well. I already know the streets.

''Bro, glad you made it on time. You are on the Red team, and I am blue. The other teams are on board.'' I look up to see who will represent the cars. Blue for Vyrone, Red for me -- Kyo, Black for Michael, Violet for Vince, and Yellow for Fer. There will be five cars for today. Unlike the last time, there were many. Maybe this is undoubtedly a limited edition. I will buy this car that I will use if I win. I went to the room to wear the red suit. After that, I went to my place. They still needed to check us before we went to our respective cars.

''Kyo! I know you will be here.'' It's Vyrone's dad.

''Mr. Zamora! Congratulations on your launching new cars.'' I said, and handshakes

''I know what you were thinking, boy! I will give you that car that you will use if you win this race.''

''Woah! That's great. You know me too well.''

''Well, thanks to your winning last event. The car that you used was sold out. You were good at influencing these cars. Do you want a part-time job here? We really wanted you as a model for our company.'' Every year I receive an email from their company since they want me to be their ambassador because of my looks and well want to win some racing. I am known as Code Red in every racing event. That's the only color that I use when it comes to racing. And I am not into modeling since I usually don't want to do things that I don't like.

''I will be going to think about it, Mr. Zamora,'' I said, and he just smiled.

''RACERS COME TO YOUR CARS. WE WILL BEGIN.''

The event will begin. I went to my car. As I see the sports car that I will drive, it is an Alfa Romeo 4C, beautiful as hell.

THIRD POV

''Today is the opening day of the great races!'' the emcee said. While the emcee is talking, each player is in their own car. Checking the engines, seatbelts, and some precautionary measures.

''We have the code yellow, Aston Martin Vantage, Fer!'' as the emcee called on Fer. Fer runs his engine. And his fans are shouting all away at the event.

''We have the code violet, BMW M5, Vince!'' Vince went outside his car window and waved his hands at his fans. Everyone suddenly shouted his name.

''We have the code black, Audi TT-RS, Michael!'' He just used the horn to say hi to his fans, and all of his fans were wearing violet.

''We have here the code blue, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, the son of the Zamora's Company, Sir Vyrone! Give around the applause, everyone!'' Vyrone went outside his car mouthed 'Thank you!' and winked at the emcee. The emcee suddenly blushed.

''And lastly, code red, Alfa Romeo 4C, Kyo!'' Kyo opened the car's roof, and everyone was shouting as Kyo waved his hands. Kyo is very popular, and lots of fans are screaming his name.

''As we start, we have these 15,000-floor long runaway to stage the Zamora's drag race!'' Everyone is putting on the race mode and put on a drive. Now they are waiting for the countdown.

''THAT WAS INTENSE! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!'' Everyone is clapping as a result of the sports car race.

''Congratulations, bro! You beat me!'' I said to Vyrone. Well, this isn't the first time that he beat me. He is the only one who can match my speed. I am not mad about it. I actually like winning, but I like it more if my friend's achievements.

''I think it was your intention that I win this race.'' He said, and I punched him, but not hard.

''Shut up, bro. I will never do that, and you know me. I didn't want to lose, so let's do another round next time. For sure, I will beat you!'' I said to him. I looked at my watch. It's already 5pm, I need to go home. I think moms are in the house.

''Sure, I'll accept your offer!'' He said and laughed.

''Congratulations, son, and Kyo! It looks like I will not give you the car for free since you didn't win.'' Mr. Zamora said. I laughed and scratched my head.

''Well, for that, Mr. Zamora. I will buy that car. I think I also deserve it and that is also my way of saying thank you since you invited me here.'' I said to Mr. Zamora. Vyrone laughed at what I said.

''Lose or win, I know you will buy that car. I saw you when you saw that car you were drooling,'' Vyrone said. Well, that is true. She is beautiful as hell, as I said.

''HAHAHAHAHA, I know you will love that car. Sure Kyo, we will be going to send you the papers.'' I went to the car. I think I will use this car to go home.

''Thank you, Mr. Zamora and Vyrone. I think I need to go home. I will use this car. I will call someone that will get my car here.'' I almost forgot my other car since I really love this car.

''Sure, Kyo! Thank you, bro'' we shook hands, shook hands with bros, and went to my car.

I drove back home in this beautiful car. When my mom sees this, she will be shocked. It's just a minute to get back home. That's how fast this car is. No cars in front of our house, meaning that Mom is still not at home; that's why I park this car immediately in my own park. We have different parks here since I love collecting cars, and they also have other vehicles for their job, business, and personal vehicles.

''Hello, son!'' I was shocked when entered our house. I saw my mom and Lovely sitting at the dining table.

''Where have you been? You look shocked,'' My mom said. I just laugh and scratch my head. I go to her and kiss her.

''Nothing, I thought no one was here,'' I said. Lovely smirked and said, ''I think Kyo has a girlfriend, and he tells her to come over because no one is in the house'' I looked at her immediately after she said that.

‘’Me? GIRLFRIEND? Where did you get that information'' I said. I think she saw me with someone else and expected me to be my girlfriend.

''is that true, Kyo?’’ Mom said.

''No, mom. She was just teasing me,'' I said, and Lovely laughed so hard. She just loves teasing me.

''I told you guys if you are in relationship. I have no problem with that as long as you tell me.'' Mom said and looked at me. ''Anyways, go and eat here. I saw that you have a new car, you need to stop buying those things. I told you. You need to sell the other cars that you have before you buy something.''

'' Hehe, yes, mom!'' I just hugged her so that she would not be mad at me.

''You smell the stink. Go wash up first before you eat dinner here.'' She said, and because of that, I hugged her even more. ''KYO!!'' She pushed me, and Lovely just laughed hard.

I went up the stairs. I saw someone from the comfort room coming outside. I thought I was hallucinating because of tiredness, but it was actually Annie? What is she doing here? I looked at her, it seemed that she was not well. When she falls, I immediately run to her and catch her.
