"Italy has labelled the thief an international criminal and a search parade has been issued to find the Kohinoor and the criminal be brought to Justice. . ."
This was the biggest and latest news gotten from every television stations in the whole country. A rare Jem called the Kohinoor had been stolen and the traces of the thief wasn't found in the crime scene and he was no where to be found as well.
But what happened before that?
20 YEARS AGO. . .
DUBLIN. . .
"You really shouldn't have made this decision to do this, senator McCain," Officer Bradley White, the police commissioner said as he pointed his pistol at the senator with two police officers behind him, also ready to fire at the senator and his right hand man, Cooper.
" What you seek isn't here and it has been transported to a safe place. You should know that the penalty for trying to escape your crimes only adds to it. The Kohinoor is not something that can be stolen, do you know that? I suggest you surrender yourself to the police to be taken back to the States in order to hide your face here, senator."
"And why should I?" Johnson McCain said, smirking. "I'm going to find that diamond if it's the last thing I do."
"It's is already the property of the Italian government, and I suggest you stand down and surrender if you don't want to be labelled an international criminal." Bradley said. "You've been surrounded. Just surrender yourself to the police."
Senator McCain laughed scornfully. "Oh, you're sadly mistaken if you think you I'll surrender." he said.
Suddenly, Bradley heard gun shots and looking behind him, his officers were down, in their own pool of blood. He looked up and saw men in black with masks over their faces pointing their guns at him.
He was surrounded.
"Actually, you're the one who's been surrounded," Senator McCain said with a sly smile around his face. As Bradley reached for his walkie talkie to check if his other officers outside the big warehouse were still alive, McCain said, "Don't bother, your men are already dead. I'm going to walk out of here alive. You, not so much," he said and suddenly collected the gun from Cooper besides him and shot at Bradley's leg.
Bradley shouted and fell on the floor as his blood spilled profusely. McCain came over and kicked him in the gut, and blood oozed out of his mouth. Suddenly Bradley's phone was ringing and McCain took the phone out of his pocket. He looked at who was calling and he smiled.
"Look, your wife is calling you," he said as he smiled wickedly. " Maybe she got a feeling today is the last day she'll ever see you walk back to her. "
He picked up the call and threw the phone on the floor as Bradley crawled to his phone to answer his wife's call.
"Hello? Brad? are you there, honey? " his wife's soothing voice came on the phone.
"Vanessa. . . " Bradley called as he choked and blood came out from his mouth.
"Oh my God, Brad, are you okay dear?" she suddenly called, panicking. When Bradley could no longer answer out of fatigue, she started wailing and crying.
"Bradley, please don't do this to me. . ." she wailed.
Senator McCain, who was obviously enjoying the spectacle, called his men to beat Bradley up to a pulp. As he was being beaten, his wife wailed and cried on the phone.
"Leave him, let him say his final goodbye to his wife, " McCain said. "Then burn this place to the ground. '
"No! Bradley!" Vanessa yelled as she cried.
After they beat him to thier satisfaction, they let him go and started to set fire to the building. Bradley was able to get his phone and he smiled as he talked to Vanessa, with tears coming out from the corner of his eyes.
"I love you, Vanessa, always remember that," he said slowly as the building slowly burnt around him. "Take care of the boys for me. Tell them their dad loves them. Always. "
And with that, Bradley gave up the ghost.
"No! Bradley!" his wife yelled on the phone and the warehouse suddenly exploded and burst into flames.

As McCain climbed on his awaiting helicopter, ready to fly away from the burning warehouse, he suddenly said to Cooper, " We must find that diamond, no matter what. Find someone to do the job."
"But where can we find someone who can steal the diamond?" Cooper asked. "We don't know how we are going to get back the diamond from Italy."
"There are more than two billion people in this country, Cooper,"McCain said as he lit his cigar. "There has to be one person capable enough to do this job. Find him."
He turned to Cooper with deadly eyes and and said," I want the Kohinoor, and I will stop at nothing to get it."
And with that, the helicopter flew away.
