I was driving to the hospital to contain my mother, when my phone rang. It was a number I did not recognize.
“Hello?” I asked when I pressed the phone button on my car.
“Kevin? Thank God, it is your father.” The voice said.
“What’s wrong?” I asked him.
“Laura just told me you're on your way here, I need your help. Your mother is completely nuts, your sister is…. It's not good, how close are you?” He asked me.
“I should be there in about 10-15 minutes. What’s wrong with Keira” I asked him.
“They rushed her into surgery, her blood pressure is skyrocketing and I really think it’s because of your damn mother. Janet needs a padded room, I knew she had severe depression but I didn’t realize she had mania. That’s what one of the doctors here said.” My father told me.
