Ryan’s Pov

We went home ready for the future. We walked into the house and I had Daniel in my arms. He had fallen asleep on the trip home. He seems like a good kid. Kaylee looked over to me and smiled. I smiled back.

“You can just lay him down in my bed “ Kaylee said to me

“baby we have more than enough room for him. he can have his own room”

She smiled. We walked upstairs and I laid him down in one of the spare rooms.As I was leaving he woke up and called out for me.

“Ryan, where is Kaylee?”

“She’s right up the hall.Get some sleep”

He smiled at me and laid back down. I walked out the room and went to Kaylee’s room. I opened her door and found her undressing. I quietly closed the door behind me and locked it. I walked up behind her and gently wrapped my arms around her stomach.

“Hey you” she said smiling

I started kissing her neck.

“Behave yourself Daniel is right up the hall”

“He’s sleep” I said rubbing on her skin

“I’m all gross baby let me shower first”

“OK baby take your shower”

She pecked me on the lip and walked into the bathroom. I walked to the door to leave as I heard the water turn on. I put my hand on the door to unlock it but all I could think of was Kaylee. I had almost lost her, my Mate. Everything we have just been forced to go through ran wild in my mind and before I could even react I found myself walking to the bathroom. The glass was all fogged up with steam from the shower. I quickly undressed and stepped into the shower with Kaylee. She had her back turned to me so I wrapped both arms around her and kissed all over her.One of my hands found its way in between her legs and she softly moaned my name in my ear. I felt my member harden even more at the sound of my name falling from her lips. I rubbed small circles on her c**t. She gasped for air. She reached behind her and grabbed my shaft. My eyes widened with surprise. She started to move her hand up and down causing me to moan, she continued and I found myself wanting to be inside her the more she touched me. She turned around to kiss me. Our tongues fight for dominance in each other's mouths. I pushed her body to the wall of the shower and picked her up. She wrapped her legs around me and I pushed myself deep inside of her. Pure pleasure shot through my entire body from being inside her. I thrust in and out of her core feeling warmth and ecstasy. “Ryannnn” she moaned loudly as I thrust in her deeper and harder Her eyes rolled as she gripped me tighter. 

I could feel the pressure start to build up as I went deeper and deeper.”I love you baby” she said breathy.  I couldn't hold back my moans anymore and I moaned loudly trying to fight back the urge to release. “I love you “ I found the breath to say.I felt her body jerk in my arms then wetness sliding down my shaft. I couldn't fight it any longer and I let go,releasing myself inside of my mate.We looked at each other and giggled. “You're such a bad influence on me you know” I said to her being funny.”Me? I was taking a shower” she shot back at me. We joked more and washed each other up. This felt nice having someone to laugh with, to love. We got out of the shower and dressed. It was dinner time so we walked hand and hand down the hall to Daniel’s room. He was just sitting on the bed, looking out the window. “Hey you guys” he said smiling at us. He embraced us in a hug and went back to staring out the window.

“Come on let's go get something to eat '' I said to him messing up his hair. He looked at me with a blank expression then back out the window.

“come on D we’re going to get something to eat” Kaylee said trying to persuade him

“I’m OK. I’m not hungry”

We looked at each other. He was this broken little kid. He had lost a brother,watched his father die at the hands of a witch and learned that his father had killed his mother as well. I had been through some things in my life too but this was a lot for a twelve year old kid. I could see the worry in kaylee’s eyes as she watched her brother just stare out the window at the garden. I didn't know what to do or what to say to fix this. Then I thought about things that any twelve year old kid would like.

“hey D, you know I got this game console in my room if you wanted to play it”

He turned to face me. “really? what kind of games do you have”

“All types of games but you have to eat something first and then we can play all night if you want”

He nodded in agreement. We went downstairs to the dining room and sat at the table. Alice came out and I informed her to fix three plates for us. “Yes Alpha” she said and went to the kitchen

“Why do people call you Alpha, isn't your name Ryan” Daniel asked confused

“Both names are correct. My name is Ryan but I am the Alpha of my pack.Alpha is just a way of saying I’m in charge” I said trying to explain it to him 

“Cool. Could I be an Alpha one day?”

“Of course you can if you work hard for it and treat people with respect” 

Alice returned with our dinner. Grilled chicken breast rice pilaf,steamed vegetables, bread and cesar salad.  We thanked Alice and began to eat. Daniel lied about not being hungry because that plate didn't stand a chance. He basically inhaled it all.

“Can I have more?” he asked. I summoned Alice and asked for another plate for Daniel. She returned with the plate but then began setting place settings for multiple seats.

“Alice what are you doing?”

“Your mother called down and ordered I set multiple places”

I rolled my eyes thinking of the spectacle that was going to occur. I refused to let them ruin this moment I was having with my new little bro and my love so i went back to eating.

“Dear I’m so happy you're here so we can talk.” my mother said taking a seat at the table

“who in the hell is the kid” James shouted as he pointed to Daniel

“This is my brother Daniel,” Kaylee said protectively. “He’ll be living with us now,” I added.

“like hell he will. this is my home and i'll decide who lives here” James said puffing out his chest

I stood up. “This is Kaylee’s brother and he WILL live here or else we’ll just leave. And by we I mean me, Kaylee,Daniel and my pack. It will be hard without the protection of my pack if we aren't here, don't you think?

“Lets all calm down,” my mother said, trying to make peace. 

“I’m calm. I'm just telling you the truth. I won't stay here if Daniel can't. He’s family”

“Speaking of family” Evan said walking in the room and sitting at the table

I was furious. All I saw was red. I wanted him to hurt. I wanted to be the one to cause that pain.

“Why the hell are you here?” i said growling and balling my fist

“don't be silly, your brother lives here” my mother said

“not anymore he doesn't. not after the s**t he pulled”

“Ryan, he told us all about that. It sounds like a misunderstanding to me”

I was shocked. How could what he did be so downplayed? A misunderstanding? 

“He almost had us killed” I said hitting down on the table

“Ryan he said he apologized to you. let's just move on from this”

“Yea bro let's move on” Evan said giving me an evil smirk

That smug little bastard had just written a check his ass couldn't cash, I leaped across the table, knocking him out of his seat and onto the floor. I started to punch him repeatedly. My mother shouted for me to stop but I figured that this could be written off as a “misunderstanding”as well.

“You get off your brother this instance” my mother said, stomping her foot down. I figured he’d had enough so I stood up

“Ryan this is unacceptable behavior. Apologize to your brother”

“What? I’m not apologizing to him”

“Do it now”

I turned to Evan and with the most sincere look on my face I said “I’m sorry I didn't kill you when I had the chance because you're dead to me. Mom I love you but I refuse to live under the same roof of someone who almost had multiple people I care about killed. We’re leaving”

I walked down to Kaylee,grabbed her hand and ushered her away from the table. She signaled for Daniel to follow. We went upstairs and began to pack. my mother came into my room crying

“I can't believe you would choose some girl that you barely know and her brother over this family. you have no loyalty”

“loyalty? So it's loyal to try to kill your own brother because you want to be the alpha of his pack instead of making your own pack? Or is it loyal to make a pass at your brothers mate because you can't get one of your own?

“You know how Evan is”

“Yea and I'm done. I have a family and sadly it doesn't include any of you.excuse me,” i said pushing past her to meet kaylee and Daniel in the hallway.

“you'll regret this” my mother said shouting down the stairs as we walked

“And you! you little b***h! you pretend to be so sweet and innocent then you turn my son against me”

“Mom shut up Kaylee didn't  turn me against you. you did that all by yourself”

“You think I'm dumb. I know that slut has been throwing herself at you since she got here and you're too p***y-whipped to see it. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't opened your legs for both of my sons. whats it like to f**k two brothers in the same house slut”

Kaylee stopped walking. I had never seen this look on Kaylees face before. It was calm. Too calm for comfort. I was scared my damn self. she walked into my mother's face 

“not that it's any of your business but yes I have been intimate with MY MATE, she said, showing her mark. “as for Evan, he couldn't have me in his wildest dreams.Why would I downgrade with a mama's boy that has his mouth latched on his moms t**s so tight  that she has to fight his battles?”

“How dare you?”

“As for the f*****g brothers thing I don't have a clue I’ve never done anything so trashy. how is it? Kaylee said, looking my mother square in the eyes.

My mother slapped kaylee. Kaylee looked over at me.

“May I” she asked me. I shrugged my shoulders letting her know I didn't object to anything she had for my mother.

“i wouldn't have done that if I was you.” I said laughing

My mother straightened her clothes and lifted her head “I am a queen and as a qu..”

she was silenced

Kaylee socked my mother in the face and she hit the ground. I couldn't help but laugh because she knocked her out of her shoes. do you know how hard you have to hit someone to remove them out of their own shoes?”

“OK killer lets go” I said grabbing her hand all three of us walked out the house

We made a stop by the pack house and let them know what happened.

“You should have let me kill him!” Tyler said

“its fine he's going to get his but most importantly we have to leave.now. gather your things and we’re leaving”there were murmurs among the pack

“if somebody has something to say then say it”

“where will we go Alpha? this is the only home I've ever know”

“home can be anywhere the pack is. if you want to stay then by all means stay but the pack is leaving”

I looked over at Kaylee to see a frown on her face

“what's wrong”

“This is all my fault. you and your life got all messed up when i came in it. i'm sorry” she said with tears now forming in his eyes. I wiped her tears away

“you are the best thing to ever happen to me. don't ever apologize for coming into my life”

“the pack is ready” chase said interrupting our moment

“good”

“so are we going where we talked about awhile back”

“yea I've transferred my money into a separate account so nobody can touch it. we’ll be good for awhile but we’ll have to get jobs once we get there to blend in”

“everything is gonna be fine man. you know i'm right here with you” chase said extending his hand out. 

“i know bro. you're the best brother i could have asked for”

We did our handshake and we gathered the pack. We grabbed our things and left.  we got into four different cars and headed towards the border.

Evan’s POV

I walked into the pack house to find it empty. everybody was gone except for Des

“what are you doing here”

“i stayed behind. i didn't want to go with them”

“why not? i'm tired of being the alphas punching bag”

“you fool you should have ended him when you had the chance” James said walking into the pack house

“yea yea if you want him dead so bad why don't you just kill him”

“seems like ill have to because you're too stupid to get the job done. now even if you kill him the pack won't ever trust you.”

I didn't think about it that way. Why does Ryan get everything? he's alpha,has a mate and everyone respects him. it's just not fair. If i was alpha then Kaylee would have been my mate but now hes marked her so i can't have her unless he's dead. I turned to Des

“you can stay here as long as you want but know you work for me now. i'm your alpha now”

“yes alpha” Des said bowing to me

It felt good. I had never been called alpha before. Now I need to get together a group of other rogues so we can put together a pack.
