Luna’s POV

Michael and I arrive shortly at the pack-house with Damien and the other wolves to speak with my grandfather King David and Alpha Aiden.

Luna: Pop-pop we need to prepare for war, Elijah ordered an attack on me.

King David-Pop: Yes, but let’s be rational he’ll be expecting it.

Alpha Aiden: What if you formally challenge him?

Damien: You can do that, but anyone you send including us, if we return, it will be with our head in a box.

King David-Pop: This is true cannot formally invite him without expecting casualties.

Beta Michael: Wait, Princess Luna harnessed two new abilities today one of them being mind-linking any wolf and where whether in this pack or not. 

I look at Alpha Aiden as I’m speaking

Luna: Yeah it’s how I was able to send you the visuals of what happened today.

King David-Pop: Sweetie you have two more abilities? That means you have a total of three now, and to top it off you got your wolf on a Blood Moon.

Alpha Aiden: Yes you are currently the most powerful Lycan / Wolf  Hybrid to ever exist, and you're a BloodMoon Princess.

King David-Pop: You are the second in our bloodline to have more than two abilities and also you’re wolf was born on a Blood Moon. We had another in our family born on the night of the Blood Moon as well she also had more than two abilities.

Alpha Aiden: So the legends are true then? 

Beta Michael: What legends?

Damien: The legend of the Blood Moon Lycan Queen.

Luna: I haven’t read of this legend. IS it in the texts?

Beta Michael: I haven’t heard of these legends either.

King David-Pop: The legend of the Blood Moon Lycan Queen is more that of a tragedy than legend. Yes, she was the most powerful of them all, and others envied her power so much that those closest to her betrayed and killed her mate while she was pregnant with her pups and couldn't fight so she went into hiding until she gave birth.

Luna: Oh my Goddess did her pups survive?

King David-Pop: Well, two of them were boys and were poisoned 10 years later, but as for her daughter, like you and your mother and the Blood Moon Lycan Queen were all born with the Crescent Moon Mark. As the legend states she killed her daughter at birth, so she wouldn't suffer the same fate. But some say she left her daughter with an old Lycan couple who couldn’t conceive to raise as their own.

Alpha Aiden: So no one knows for sure.

Beta Michael: Well, it's obviously true because we have two of the descendants of the Lycan Blood Moon Queen here and now.

Luna: Is the Lycan Blood Moon Queen still alive?

King David-Pop: No sweetie she killed herself after her sons were poisoned.

Luna: Wow. How old is this legend anyway?

King David-Pop: Some 200 years I think.

Luna: Is it possible for the former Blood Moon Queen to be my great-great-grandma?

King David-Pop: …

Alpha Aiden: Well princess how about you formally invite Elijah the Alpha King of the mid-west to the east coast to an Alphas challenge through mind-link.

Just then my mom walks in pissed

Evangeline: What Alphas challenge? You haven’t even trained enough, it's only been two months. You need more time. Dad, don't let her do this.

Luna: Mom I have to he sent rogues to kill me.

Evangeline: What? How did he know where we were?

King David-Pop: Relax dear, he doesn't know if you both yet. He is just trying to take out the last of the ruling Lycans in North America, and Luna must challenge him if not he will continue to send men to attack her.

Evangeline: But dad she hasn't even had her first shift yet.

Damien: Actually,  your highness she already had her first shift tonight.

Evangeline: And you are?

Beta Michael: He is Damien he was with the second half of rogues that were going to attack but stopped and kneeled instead when Princess Luna shifted into an enormous wolf the Blood Moon Wolf.

Evangeline: You let this rogue into the territory?

Beta Michael: They are no longer rogues.

Luna: When the kneeled to me they pledged their lives and loyalty to me.

Damien: Yes, she is our Alpha Queen.

Pop and Alpha Aiden look at each other with a raised brow then at me.

Alpha Aiden: So you have a pack now?

King David-Pop: Not only a pack, but you've been accepted as their Queen as well.

Luna: Yes.

King David-Pop: Evangeline dear what do you think of this dear?

Evangeline: I think she needs more training but as for being queen she is more than ready I will gladly pass the title of Queen to Luna.

Luna: Thank you, Mom

King David-Pop: Ok good now Luna sweetie Mind-link your Fath… I mean Alpha King Elijah for the Alpha Challenge
