THE BLOOD MOON

After my party that Monday I started my training with Lucas, training every morning and studying every afternoon and on the weekend I was practicing on harnessing my abilities I was learning fast and getting stronger. It’s been two months since I turned 18 and I still haven’t had my first shift. Tonight is supposed to be a Blood Moon. Michael and I were jogging in the woods when we caught the scent of multiple Rogue wolves nearby.

Luna: You smell them?

Beta Michael: Yeah, be prepared to fight we’re surrounded.

Luna: I’m always ready the Blood Moon must be attracting them.

Beta Michael: Here they come can you take on those two? I’ll get these four.

Luna: Ha ha ha very funny. More like you, these two and I’ll take care of those four.

Beta Michael: Oh cocky, Ok, let me see what you got.

Michael shifts into his wolf form and takes on the two rogues, as for me I'm in human form and killed two of the four Rogues. One Rogue bit into my ankle, I kicked him into a tree, killing him instantly as his back snaps in half and he falls lifelessly on the ground. Michael takes the last rogue out as I hit the ground my body is on fire.

Luna: Ahhh my body is on fire.

Beta Michael: (Thinking) s**t she’s having her first shift and on a Blood Moon that's unheard of.

Luna: Ahhh!!!! It hurts so bad.

Beta Michael: Just think of your favorite place in the world and focus on it.

I do as Michael suggests an I shift within minutes

End POV

Michael’s POV 

When Luna shifts into her wolf I’m in awe. She’s an all-white wolf with red eyes not mention that I look like a pup next to her. She’s even bigger than an Armbruster’s wolf

Luna and her wolf Olivia’s POV

We (Olivia and I) noticed several more Rogues come but stop as soon as they see me. They all bow Except for the man that's with them. The man looks at them with disgust then pulls out a gun aiming at Michael then shoots. We jump in front of Michael protecting him from the shower of bullets. 

Olivia: Growls.

We launch at the man and bite his head clean off his spine. Michael and the Rogues all shift back into there human forms then kneel before me.

Beta Michael: Princess are you OK you were shot.

The rogue walks up to us with his head down in submission.

Damien: I’m Damien, the man that shot you used silver bullets laced with wolfsbane. We had no idea you were the legendary Blood Moon Princess.

Beta Michael: Blood Moon Princess?

Damien: Yes, we knew she was a Lycan Princess, but that explains why Elijah sent us to take her out.

Beta Michael: Elijah as in…

The moment Damien mentioned Elijah’s name I shift back into my human form. I wave my hand over to the tree where my spare clothes are using my telekinetic abilities in case I did shift. All the men gave me their backs in respect of my privacy while I changed.

Luna: As in the Alpha King Elijah?

Damien: Yes, the very same.

Beta Michael: Are you Hurt? How do you feel?

Luna: Actually I feel Amazing and powerful. It looks as though my skin is impenetrable, and apparently I’m immune to silver and wolfsbane.

Beta Michael: Wow looks like you found your second ability.

Damien: What I don’t get is why would Elijah send us to come after you. I mean I know it was because you're a Lycan princess and he wanted to take over North America by taking you out, but why you and not the king?

Luna: It’s because he’s …

Michael interrupts me before I can tell Damien it’s because I’m Elijah’s daughter.

Beta Michael: It’s because she didn’t invite him to her birthday party and he is butthurt.

Damien: Or it must have been something his delta told him.

Luna: You mean Daniel?

Damien: yes, you must have met him.

Luna: Yes, I had a bad feeling about him.

Beta Michael: We must get back to the pack to notify King David and Alpha Aiden right away this means war.

Damien: Yes,

Beta Michael: No, you and your Rogues are not allowed on my territory.

Luna: Michael the moment they kneeled to me, they accepted me as their Alpha. 

Damien: Our Alpha Queen, we pledge our lives and loyalty to you.

They all kneel and bow before me

Beta Michael: I don't know how Alpha Aiden is going to take this.

Luna: He’s fine with it. He saw everything I shared through the link.

Beta Michael: How? You’re not in our pack. you can’t link unless you’re in the pack or you take the throne officially, and you haven’t, not yet at lease.

Luna: Like this.

I look at Michael and show him everything that visually happened through Mind-link

Luna: Yes, I have a third ability, I know it’s unheard of as well as having your first shift on a Blood Moon Yada, Yada Blah, Blah.

Beta Michael: Actually, I was going to say you can communicate with other wolves without being in their pack through mind-link, and yeah it's unheard of.
