Let's set each other's lonely nights Be each other's paradise Need a picture for my frame Someone to share my reign   Justin Bieber- Company _________________________________     Harris wasn't sure how to feel about Lesley inviting him to his home. It was quiet obvious now that both boys had come a long way since Harris' first punch at Lesley. They were now somehow on the lines of cordiality, and Harris could deal with that. Even though most at times Lesley acted as a jerk and climbed unto his last nerve. They had somehow grown to learn each others differences and gotten accustomed to that. Especially the inevitable insults they threw at each other. But now these insults have only rendered to be hallow.   Given their nature and personality they both saw it as..... An endearment for each other?   Not quite that but you get the point. Its like how they naturally address each other now.   Harris stood in front of his bedroom mirror after taking a quick shower before going to Lesley's place. He didn't even get what he was doing in front of a mirror since he never bothered to look at it. But then he realized that's what happens when you are attracted to someone. You make sure you looked good in their presence. He stared at his reflection pouting and wondering if he looked okay.   "I like your skinny jeans." Fiona said walking into his room to find Harris in front of his mirror. Even Fiona was surprised he was checking himself up.   "And where are you going all dressed up nicely and smelling good?" She asked grinning and licking her ice cream spoon clean.   "Its just some stupid project." Harris said rolling his eyes like he didn't care.   "And who's house are you going?" Fiona asked. Harris didn't want Fiona to know he was going to Lesley's place. He didn't want any pulling of legs. The boy natural flushed about Lesley enough, he couldn't take any more teasing. But then this was Fiona, she was going  to find out one way or the other. Moreover its better to let her know now than her finding out later and insinuating Harris had a reason behind it, which he does.   "Its at Lesley's.." he trailed of looking at Fiona through the mirror.   "Ooooo.....It's at Lesley's huh?" She cooed grinning at him.   "Stop imagining things you creep." Harris mumbled.   Fiona laughed taking a seat on his bed, "I barely said anything."   "Well don't." Harris muttered getting flustered.   Fiona laughed again crossing her legs, "Well just let him know I said Hi.."   "After locking him up I barely think he'd want to hear that. Seriously what were you thinking? That we were just gonna jump each other like rabbits?" Harris scorned turning to look at her.   "Wait that didn't happen?..." Fiona asked quizzically.   "Oh my god you're impossible." Harris shook his head and rolled his eyes. He grabbed his keys and books and headed out.   "Wait you're just gonna leave me hanging!!" Fiona called after him with her perky voice resonating through out the house.   "Yes!" Harris called back. "and I hope the rope you are hanging from chokes those perverted thoughts of yours!!" He said exiting the house and getting into his car.   "My perverted thoughts is what keeps me going!" She snickered poking her head from his bedroom window.   Harris snorted and waved her off before pulling out of the house.   With Harris over thinking and zoning out half of the way, he arrived at Lesley's in no time. The electronic iron gates parted giving him access into the compound. Stepping out of the car and seeing the house again brought him a feeling of déjà vu. His silliness which lead to the store room incident replayed in his head. Harris couldn't help but smile.   "And why is he smiling?"   Harris turned around to find Lesley stepping out of the house. He was in black jeans and an oversized black hoodie which kinda complimented his quite pale skin. His hair was a bit tussled and messy like he had just woke up with his lip as pink as ever under the setting sun. Seeing Lesley like that made Harris' breath get caught in his throat.   Why does he have to look a 10 when he's not even trying?! Harris groaned inwardly.   "And why do you care?" Harris asked leaning on his car.   Lesley shrugged, "Because your happiness bothers me Harris."   Harris scoffed, "You are you. Of course everything bothers you." He rolled his eyes.   Lesley nodded clicking his tongue, "I can't argue with that one."   This gained a snort from Harris as he kicked himself of the car, "I'm jealous of all the people that haven't met you."   Lesley smiled. "And I'm so grateful I haven't met all those people you have no idea." Harris couldn't argue with that. As reserved and collected as Lesley was of course he would hate being with people.   "I put aside what I did earlier so we have to start the project from scratch." Lesley said as he began walking into the house. Harris followed making sure he kept a good distance between them.   The interior looked better than the last time Harris had seen it. Now that the place wasn't swarmed by people, he could see every bit of detail he had missed the last time. The place was magnificent. Harris couldn't lie.   "Oh my god you must be Harris!" A woman said on entering the room and seeing Harris. Harris recognized the striking resemblance between she and Lesley. He instantly realized it must be Maria Lingard..or Christensen. Maria quickened her steps walking up to them.   "Uhhh ... Good afternoon Mrs Christensen?" Harris spattered awkwardly not knowing how to address her. He was always awkward around adults. And especially this one because she happened to be Lesley's mother. The mother of the boy he was crazy about.   "Oh dear, call me Maria." The woman placed her hand on his shoulder and smiled down at him. Harris smiled back trying not to be awkward. "I've heard quiet a lot about you..." She said.   "Really?..." Harris grinned turning to look at Lesley who's cheeks were being furiously colonized by a blush.   "Yes. Quite a lot and I'm glad I finally got to meet you." She smiled lightly.   "You too Mrs Chris.... Sorry Maria." Harris stammered. Maria smiled again and patted Harris lightly on the shoulder before turning to look at Lesley.   "I'm sorry I have to leave you baby but this emergency meeting came up and I have to fly there as soon as possible. I have some foods prepared for you two so make sure you eat okay?" She asked turning around to pick her handbag. "I'll be back as soon as I can but definitely not tomorrow."   "Is George accompanying you?" Lesley asked. George was Maria's bodyguard who made sure the woman was never alone. His mother quickly nodded. "Yes he is. And peter and all the others would be here with you on the compound keeping you safe so please feel free to do your work okay?" She pleaded glancing between her son and Harris.   "Yeah sure." Lesley nodded.   "Great!" She exasperated pulling Lesley into a hug. "I'll call as soon as I land and call me if anything. And I mean....., anything." She warned darting her finger between the two.   "I will." Lesley groaned at the woman's overprotective nature.   "And you too Harris. Please take care of him will you."   Harris nodded. "Sure."   "And Lesley you make sure Harris feels at home and don't give him a tough time you hear me?"   Lesley threw Harris an angry look which Harris gladly replied with a smirk.   "Bye then! Please take good care of yourselves!" She gave Lesley a squishy kiss on the cheek with Lesley protesting finding it embarrassing under Harris' watch. Harris was simply enjoying the show.   Maria waved one more time before jogging out of the door with the driver pulling her luggage out after her.   Harris was still smiling at Lesley's flushed face and turned to look at the boy. Lesley glanced at Harris to find the boy looking back at him with a smug grin across his face.   "Shut up." Lesley said.   Harris shrugged still grinning, "I haven't said anything."   Lesley groaned and made his way up to his room where they were to do the project. Harris followed him once again admiring the interior all the way.   Saying Lesley's room was beautiful was an understatement. The place was gorgeous. The room was decorated with black and gray colors with a few touches of white making it look really matured. Harris couldn't help but stare at everything.   "Are you gonna gawk all day or start the work already......" Lesley sighed cynically after taking a seat at his desk. Harris looked at him but didn't even bother to give him a reply. They would only end up bickering again.   After taking a seat opposite Lesley, Harris brought out his learning material and both boys began to work. Making a report on all genetic disorders with causes, symptoms and possible cures along with examples of true life cases wasn't easy. They were working so hard they didn't realize it had gotten dark and the skies had began to turn cloudy too.   The only time they lost their focus was when an extremely cold breeze blew into the room through the unlocked windows. Lesley was the first to lose attention as he glanced up from his work towards the opened shatters. He got up and went to the window to see the clouds turning really stormy. If Harris wanted to get home on time and safe he had to leave now. And Lesley didn't want Harris getting caught up in a storm or an unfortunate incident. The fright and pain he had felt the last time he thought Harris was injured was disturbing and heartbreaking.   "Harris...." Lesley called from the window. The boy barely heard his name. He had his eyes so buried on the book to use any of his other senses.   "Harris..!" Lesley called again this time a bit louder. Harris looked up at him startled and confused. Then he caught sight of the stormy skies behind Lesley...   "Fuck......." He cussed. His mouth fell slightly open staring at the skies in bewilderment. "How the hell I'm I supposed to get back..." He whispered thoughtfully to himself. He had been so into the project to notice what was unfolding around him.   Harris didn't know but Lesley might have heard Harris thinking out loud about how he was going to get back through the storm. He knew Harris would like to go but then it might be dangerous. The storm approaching wasn't a joke. The clouds had gotten so thick that they could be seen through the night sky. And Lesley wanted Harris to stay over. As simple as that. He wouldn't risk letting him go out in the approaching storm like that, he wanted him beside him.   "The storm looks deadly." Lesley said turning around to look at Harris. Lesley didn't want to be the first person to bring up the staying over topic. He'd just keep quiet and let Harris make his own decision.   Harris sat there tapping his pen on his lip and looking through the night sky wondering how the hell he was going to get home. If he left right then he wouldn't make it in time and this was a secluded area so no houses would be around to his rescue if something were to happen. Also there was more work load to complete before tomorrow. Lesley wouldn't be able to complete that if he left it all on him. He wasn't sure if Lesley would allow him to stay over or what he'd even think of that.   So he went to look at Lesley expecting him to telepathically get what he was thinking. Lesley only stared back waiting for Harris.   "Moreover its started to drizzle.." Lesley trailed of poking his head through the window. It was quiet clear he didn't want Harris to leave. Harris wasn't sure if he was getting the right message or was misinterpreting it.   "So I have to stay over?" Harris asked looking at Lesley expectantly.   Lesley mere shrugged and leaned against the wall with his hands tugged into his hoodie pockets. He didn't want to say anything for Harris to know he was dying for him to stay over.   Lesley shrugging and not outright giving a response in the negative meant a lot to Harris. That if Harris stayed it wouldn't be a bother to him. So he mildly nodded trying so hard not to let his excitement show on his face.   Lesley nodded too looking down to hide his lightly flushed face. "I'll get something for us to eat then." He said and made his way out. But then he stopped abruptly at the door and turned to Harris gazing at him. "What? You think I'll serve you?" Lesley asked obnoxiously.   Harris rolled his eyes and closed his book getting up to follow him into the kitchen.   Lesley opened the refrigerator and went through all the dishes that had been prepared. He grunted in frustration not finding what he was looking for. Harris watched him wondering what was up with him. The two refrigerators were stocked with everything Harris wanted. Including his favorite Mac and cheese. He didn't waste anytime pulling it out.   He turned to Lesley to find the boy leaning against the cabinet staring back with a thick frown.   "And why's he angry?" Harris snorted grabbing a plate.   Lesley took a deep breath, "There's no burger."   Harris snickered, "seriously, that's whats killing you like that?"   Lesley rolled his eyes still frowning. Harris shook his head at his childish actions. "If you want a burger then just make one." Harris shrugged dishing his delicacy unto the plate. It was golden and cheesy, just how he liked it. He licked his lips unconsciously not being able to wait it out. He'll probably finish the whole bowl.   "I dont know how to make one."   Harris looked up with a shocked expression. His lips slowly parted before breaking into fits of laughter. Lesley watched his actions and frowned deeper.   Harris cackled on clutching unto his stomach in the process because of how much it hurt.   Lesley watched him getting very pissed. "And what so funny?" He asked in annoyance.   Harris laughed more before standing straight but still give tiny laughs. "You seriously can't make a burger? Jesus Christ you spoilt brat." Harris snickered.   Lesley rolled his eyes obviously annoyed. Harris teasing him made him storm off to the fridge and began pulling burger ingredients out.   Harris watched him amused still snickering. Lesley threw him a dirty look before turning around and began putting things together to make his burger. He was going to show Harris he wasn't some spoiled rich brat....though he was.   He grabbed an apron which gained a snort from Harris. Lesley then grabbed a butchers knife and began cutting the bread.   "Oh my god..." Harris deadpanned trying to stifle a laugh. Lesley didn't want to pay any attention to Harris. So he went ahead and grabbed a tomato trying to cut it into slices but failing desperately.   "Oh Jesus have mercy....." Harris watched him getting totally mind blown. How could a human being be so spoiled? He slapped his palm on his face and slowly dragged it down shaking his head in disbelief. Lesley couldn't slice a tomato. A simple damn tomato.   "You know what just give me the damn knife.." Harris sighed walking up to Lesley.   Lesley looked at him still wanting to prove his capability, " I can make this burger." He said adamantly.   "No you can't."   "Yes I can."   "For gods sake you can't even slice a tomato!!" Harris threw his hands up in disbelief.   Lesley merely shrugged, "maybe I'm a little bit distracted that's all."   "Oh please.." Harris scoffed. "You know what just give me the knife...."   "No."   "Lesley!"   "No."   "Give me the damn knife before you cut yourself!"   "No."   "Jesus motherfucking Christ..." Harris hissed running out of patience. He run his fingers through his hair staring unbelievingly at Lesley. He knew if he left Lesley to make something even as simple as a burger they wouldn't leave the kitchen without the smoke alarm blowing.   "Fine then, lemme teach you how to slice the tomato.." Harris pointed out raising his brows in suggestion.   Lesley sighed glancing at the pathetic excuse of sliced tomatoes he had just carved. In as much as he wanted to prove he wasn't a spoiled brat he realized Harris had a point. He stood behind the counter for some time before nodding lightly for Harris to go ahead.   "Thank god..." Harris mumbled and quickly took the knife away from Lesley like the boy was about to harm himself.   "Watch.." Harris grabbed a tomato and precisely slid it into two. He grabbed another and did the same thing glancing at Lesley to see if he was watching.   "Here, try it." Harris passed him a tomato and the knife. Slowly and trying best to be careful, Lesley pressed one hand on the tomato to cut it only to end up squishing it with the whole juice spraying all over Harris' t-shirt. Harris' mouth fell agape staring at Lesley. "You didn't just do that..."   Lesley shrugged not even looking apologetic, "I have some t shirts."   Harris wanted to scold and rant on how Lesley had ruined his shirt without even saying sorry, but then Lesley said he had some shirts. Which he was letting Harris wear. Harris was going to wear Lesley's shirts.   A goofy smile spread on his face which he quickly wiped off.   "Hold the tomato lightly..." Harris explained.   "Like this?" Lesley asked holding it like it was an atomic bomb.   "No, no Jesus." Harris deadpanned. "Like this."   Harris gently glided his palms unto Lesley who had his hands on the tomato and slowly guided him to position the tomato. Harris had to multi task keeping the tingles erupting in his system in check as well as trying to be the perfect teacher. He placed his palms on Lesley's hand on hold of the knife and slowly guided it unto the tomato for him to make cuts. After taking three successful slices together, Harris looked at their work smiling.   "There," he smiled satisfyingly and glanced up to find Lesley staring at him with his dark brown eyes. His unwavering gaze was proof he had been staring at Harris for very long.   Harris was caught within actions. He wasn't sure whether to pull his hand away or collectively forget about all this and move back to his dinner. But then guess his heart decided for him. He returned Lesley's chocolate gaze with his jade ones not being able to pull away. Lesley swallowed still staring and not even blinking. The emotion Harris had seen flash in his eyes without knowing what it was kept flashing again.   After what seemed like forever, Lesley quietly and majestically pulled his right hand from beneath Harris' palms which the boy missed as soon as it left and slowly glided it up to Harris' face. He lightly brushed it down his face during which Harris couldn't think straight. Lesley lead his hands down to Harris' lips feeling the boys hot breath on them. Then softly, he brushed his thumb over the lower lip of Harris mouth and silently moved his thumb into his own mouth.   "You had tomato juice on your lip.." Lesley whispered. Harris was struggling with his breathing, he was having an internal inferno had started to sizzle up his organs. A shaky breath escaped from his lips as he lowered his head to hide his completely flushed face. His lower lip where Lesley had touched were sizzling with fireworks. He clamped his hand tighter on the board to think straight....the irony though.   Lesley had gotten something from his lip.... And stuck it into his mouth!! Harris didn't know what to do. He glanced up again to still find Lesley still looking at him. He got embarrassingly flustered. Very.   "I think I've gotten it now.." Lesley said clearing his throat and referring to the sliced tomatoes. Harris nodded and hurriedly pulled his other hand away and made it back to his seat. He grabbed his plate and shoved it into the microwave heating it up and all through it dreading to look at Lesley because he was shy the boy might catch him shamelessly staring.   The microwave dinged pulling him out of his stupor. He quickly got his food and made his way to the island table to eat. He finally got the courage to look in Lesley's direction.   Lesley wearing a slim suit and a mask looking hot and mysterious at a dinner party was one thing, but then seeing him in an apron trying desperately to make a burger was everything. How his pants hang loosely around his waist without a belt, what a mess he had made in tying the apron ropes behind him....Harris wished he could just walk up to Lesley and make a move. He wanted to grab him and pull him into his arms and look into his eyes and... Guhh!   Keep it in your pants Harris. He thought to himself. Keep it in your pants.   As the cool breeze blew into the kitchen, he relaxed into his chair and wondered what the rest of the night had in store for him.
