Chapter Ten
Ralph Henry picked up the cell phone and dialed Cogent's number. It had been over a year since Henry had spoken to Cogent. He didn't know exactly what he would say to Cogent, particularly since he had recently taken Cogent's job. Henry wondered if Cogent would resent him calling. Henry's wife had reassured him that Cogent wasn't the sort of friend who would be offended at Henry calling him.
“Hello,” Cogent answered. Cogent had just arrived home from the second day of his new job.
“Jack, It's Ralph. How ya' doing?” Henry asked Cogent in an animated tone.
