Chapter Eleven Madison Southworth awoke from a deep sleep at 6:30 a.m. the next morning. She blinked and her gaze focused on the tweed blanket that encased her small frame. She was startled for a moment and then realized that she was in Cogent's apartment. She was so out of it the night before that she didn't recall driving over to his place. She pulled the blanket back and quickly arose from the sofa. Her dress was disheveled and she smoothed her hands over the wrinkled fabric. Then she brushed her black locks away from her eyes.
