Chapter Twenty-Four Monday morning arrived, and Madison Southworth nervously paced the carpeted floors of her small apartment. She had seen more of her apartment in the past week than she had in the last two years. And she had seen enough. This was her first day back at the pharmacy since Mr. Ringer had given her the rest break. She kept nervously fussing with her long black raven hair as she prepared for work. Madison had finally decided that she was ready and headed out to the car parked next to her apartment. She drove in to work and arrived at her usual time.
