Chapter Twenty-Eight The snooze alarm sounded off at around six o'clock that morning. Cogent rolled over in the warm, snug covers of his bed and shut the alarm off. He had gotten about three hours of sleep. He felt groggy as he rubbed his large hand over his tired eyes. He struggled to sit up on the side of the bed. He yawned and stretched in an attempt to wake himself up. Cogent looked at the brightly lit red digital numbers showing on the clock that sat on the nightstand. If he could only sneak in a few more minutes of sleep, he might feel better. Or so he thought. He didn't have time for that extra sleep this morning. He had already set the alarm clock to go off later that morning. It was going to be another busy day, and he had to get cracking. He finally managed to get himself awake
