I told Lucas I needed more time, my initial plan was to warn Dante. To let him know what was coming and maybe make sure that if he did come he came prepared. But then I thought, this would just prove to everyone else who had been looking down on me that I was helpless. This would prove them all right and just make me another weak female who needed to be saved by her mate. I no longer wanted to saved by anyone, at this point, it was either I figured out how to save myself or be ready to die. Every male wolf that had come into my life under the disguise of saving me had only disappointed me and ended up either abusing me or using me for something. This must have been a sign from the moon goddess that I was meant to save myself.
