"She surely is a real princess and a befitting Queen indeed!" he thought to himself at the looks of her surroundings. He rang the voice enabled bell at the gates and was greeted by the security guards voice, he made him answered a few queries from Bob! then waited as he was directed, for him to go confirm and revert back to him. "Jenn! are you expecting someone? came Mansa from the door to her friends room "Nope! no one I remember." "Are you sure?" Mansa pressed "Definitely not! why do you ask?" she inquired now with her full cooperation. "Well bobby says there is an old man at the gates after you." "Old man looking for me?" Jenn mirrored in question "Yes babes!" Mansa replied in the affirmative "Did he say anything? I mean his name or where he is from? Any reasonable information I can make him by?" Jennifer asked inquisitively "Well! Eeerhm ... I am not sure. Hold on! let me bring Bobby here to speak for himself since he was the one that had contact with this person." "Yes do! please ... thanks!" "Bob! Do come in. 'Mansa permits the security guard to come further into the house since he was standing just immediately after the front door.' please answer her if you heard her last question." "Yes! Small madam, he says his name is Togui Dagadoo! 'replied Bobby who was having difficulty pronouncing the name due to tribal accents.' he also mentioned your name Aunty Jennifer." "Is that all? How about where he came from?" "Mmhh! Madam ... " "Come on Bob! You know the protocols and is very much aware of how it goes. It is too early for all the pranks from people regardless of age." she berates him in anguish as she ponders on dismissing the idea of permitting the stranger an audience. "No! madam, he also said he is from 'AN GLOOO HA!" Still mispronouncing the names; the reason for Jenn's untimely comprehension. However, there was something familiar with all what her security guard was saying but she couldn't pick out what it was. All the while TOGUI'S wait outside the gates made him pondered why? Why he was made to wait for that long. Back in the village no one made him wait, talk-less of that long. He was feared as well as respected to where, people awaited him. Some for days others hours just to have a sit with him. Today her awaits someone**** or Is this the reason why old soldier wanted to inform her of his visit first or what? After having gone through all the trouble of taking the out of body walk, to persuading his son to finally hand him the address? Now he was right where he needed to be with only a mere metal and weightless man in the person of a security guard to block his path! He lets out a snort In spirituality each and every body had their weight. A heavy person had a strong inclination to a higher power or protection which sometimes comes in a form of a ring of blazing fire or a blinding lumination around them. whereas a weak or loose spirit may have an almost quenching blaze or non at all. If not for the promise her made his son. He would simply take the shapeless path, disappear from the gates and appear in the house! More over, he didn't want to spook the occupants especially his Queen. He was made aware of her fragility. Her knowledge of the old was also misconstrued. He was not going to give a backing to her misconception. whiles Togui was buried in his inner deliberations outside Jennifer's gates. She was also deeply surfing her previous conversations to get an answer to the riddle in front of her compound. "Angloo haa! Doesn't he mean Anglo Ga? That is old Soldier's origin if it was what Bob heard and was struggling to put across. Togueeeeee Dagadoo should be Dagadu! if am correct? That should be the person my baby spoke about! I will just have to meet this person by myself to find out who he really was and what he was looking for. Bobby is not reliable in this message delivery; he is only confusing me. "Bob! Did you say an old man?" "Yes! Small madam." he responded in the affirmative. "In being mindful of his age, I will apologise to him first.' she decides internally' Bob! please let him in thanks! I will take it from there." She called the in house nurse assigned to her by Doc. Asare to help her prepare to meet her anonymous guest. She would have loved to take the drip off her wrist but it was not advisable. So she had no option but to appear before the guest with it in her arm. To add to that, she would be transported in a wheel chair to the sitting area. She was not allowed to walk too! and there was no two ways about it; strictly prohibited by Doc. Asare. If only she could do without all the gadgets that made her look terminally ill. She would have been pleased. "Yes! small madam!" Bob ... responded before exiting. The gates began to roll away exposing the full view of the compound to TOGUI'S relieve and marvel. He was from a rich illustrious land but an automated path way was foreign to him. He wondered which magician was performing the trick; how come, he could not feel their aura? it wasn't that young man he spoke to because he was in his plain sight and as light as a feather. He couldn't even in a million lifetimes. He was going to inquire and meet that person after he was through with his mission. He must also be a grand Master as himself to move such a massive barricade lightly. He was ushered in by bobby then directed to the front door to be welcomed and taken to the sitting room by Mansa. Togui could not hide his astonishments at that of the anterior landscape of the building. His head, moved from left to right akin to the safety precautions of crossing a road. jennifer was wheeled in by the nurse. The old wise man could not bear remain seated upon beings shown the light of purity and grace hovering around Jennifer. The first beauty that showed through the door ahead of her figure. A mesmerizing sparkle that was invincible to the ordinary eye. He had truly at long last met the fated but unlucky Queen. As a sign of allegiance and respect to greet his Queen he genuflected awhile as he speaks. "Greetings my lady!" Jennifer amazed with the odd way the old man behaved also, addressed her, with a question bemused feature retorted respectfully "please there is no need to do that, have your seat elder and I am Jennifer not my lady please." She stood up slowly from the wheel chair, made two steps to the nearest sofa. She felt a little embarrassed to be presented to her guest in this manner but she had no control. Moreover, the wheel chair was uncomfortable for her, she couldn't wait to ditch it. Togui did not sit until she was well settled in. Getting up abruptly could cause Jennifer to feel dizzy, which could lead her to collapse again. She needed to take everything slowly. Her movement was like that of robot yet the elderly man mind not. "You are welcome! ' she tells Togui' Mansa! please help me offer our guest some water, thanks!" she instructs her friend politely. It is a culture in every Ghanaian home to offer water to a guest to replenish energy lost whiles making the journey to your home. A necessary courtesy action before any discussion followed by other refreshments. "Thank you my lady! it is truly an honor to be in your presence." her says reverently. A profound impression was already established within him about the lady before him. "No sir! I insist ! you address me by Jennifer." She tries to make the wise man understand she was younger than him and was the one to accord him the respect not the other way round. She also wanted to bridge the awkward gap between herself and her strange guest by breaking the uncomfortable status wall which was high up. As well as make him understand she's no royalty. "By doing so, I would be disrespecting you! 'Nyonufia'↔️ 'Queen mother's. Mansa walked in with a sweat beat glass of chilled water. She offered it to Togui and found an open space near her friend to sit. "Thank you my daughter!" he says appreciating-ly. This custom had to upheld before any proceedings in any typical Ghanaian home regardless of social status. it was deemed uncultured to neglect this tradition. After this custom had been upheld one had the clear to inquire of their guest's reason for honoring their home with their presence. Before Jennifer could speak , Togui took the initiative. Time was of the essence there was no need to hold back much. "I am Togui Dagadu! The senior chief priest from the great land of Anglo Ga Srogbe. I am here on behalf of the heir apparent of the throne of the land. Whom I am made aware has a wife in this household; which should be none other than you! My lady ... respectfully I guess?" He says with a pleasant smile visible, looking directly at Jennifer. This simple introductory lines refreshed Jenn's memory, made her blush moreso compelled her to ask for pardon. Which was her initial plan but got lost somewhere in the clouds of TOGUI'S boldness. For the solecism committed inadvertently. "Yes! Forgive me grand pa! we only spoke flightily about you when your name came up in what was more of a clarification than discussion. He did indeed! mention meeting you sometime but did not say precisely when? To be honest, I hardly received any guest exceptionally at home without prior notice. You should have been an exception in any case. He should have done a better job! I am sure to give him an ear full the next time we communicate. Be that as it may, I am regretful for making you wait out side the gates for that long. My security guard was also no help there either. However, I take full responsibility for the negligence and ask for forgiveness again. Once more 'Woe zo Papa!'↔️ 'Welcome Father!". 'She says coyly' with glee.' So it turns out he was actually telling the truth about his status ha?" she concludes. Mansa a new comer to this realization could not hold her stupidfied self; interrupted the proceedings like a spoilt child, which she was! who refused to take into account her surroundings and standing within that meeting unconsciously. She broke into the conversation uninvited on reflex. She only needed to be a spectator not a contributor name less a CID! which was a lack in social grace deemed to be disrespectful.
