Change is Good

It’s been a week since we have found Ryder and he agreed to come with us back to the blood moon pack.

Since we’ve come back, I can’t say it wasn’t easy on the rest of the pack to see a bear shifter be mated to a wolf shifter. It still isn’t easy and if it wasn’t for mine and Theon’s alpha command for no one to bring them harm, there is no telling what would happen. I promised Ryder that he could live at peace here and I needed the rest of the pack to understand that.

I sat in my office lost in thought about all of it. My pack was still endangered because of the ex alpha mark and no I’m worried about the members within my pack to not blow up on Ryder and Lydia. Their mating ceremony was in three days. I had to convince the pack.

A light knock came from my door as Theon poked his head in “Hey little wolf, is everything okay? You seemed tensed last night.” I looked up at him and I knew stress was written all over my face. “I just have so much on my mind. I know the pack is uneasy about Ryder and Lydia’s bond. I know this whole thing isn’t easy and that to them it’s unnatural because this as never happened before.” I ran my fingers through my hair as I felt Theon reach me and take home into his arms. “You have been so strong and doing so well. You have a determination I’ve never seen before and that I admire so much.” I looked up at him blushing and smiling.

My hands softly touched his cheeks as he brought his face closer to mine. Tingles lit up all over my body from the touch of his lips against mine. It was like a fuel I needed to keep going and stay strong. Verena howled happily in my head.

As our lips parted he smiled down at me. “You got this my beautiful luna.”

After our moment he had to return to his duties as I sat back in my office. I looked out the window at all the pack homes and shops in front of me. Change is good and always will be good. I needed everyone to see that. I knew the best way was to throw a party for all to meet Ryder and show that he isn’t a bad person. He’s actually quite sweet when he isn’t hunting your kind down.

I stood up and started making my way to Ryder and Lydia’s home. I wanted to ask if they would be okay with this. If the people saw I feel like it would help ease them into this change of pace and style. It gave me hope for a better future.

After a few minutes I knocked on there door as Ryder opened it and smiled at me. It felt weird but nice. “Ahh Luna, please come in.” I smiled kindly “thank you Ryder, I had a question for both you and Lydia that I wanted to see if you’d be up for.” He looked interested in what I had to ask and called out for Lydia. She popped her head out from the kitchen and smiled at me. She looked so much healthier from before. I’m so happy that she’s doing better. “Luna! It’s so good to see you!” I smiled as she hugged me and I returned it with ease.

I spoke up “it’s good to see you as well, my question is this; would you guys be okay with a party, not your mating ceremony, but a party for the pack to meet and see how happy you two are?” They looked to each and I waited for their answer. Ryder spoke up “What would all happen?” I knew he was cautious. “I just want to make sure that our pack knows just how well you two are doing. I want the pack to see how even though you guys are different shifters that you have found happiness.” They both nodded at me. With that we spoke about the details of the party and how it would go about.

After that I left and started to prepare for tomorrows party. It made me happy. Theon made the announcement for it to all the pack members. I had the helpers around the pack house help me make food for the party. I gave knox a list of things needed. We would have to spend tomorrow setting up before everyone arrived.

Later at night at the pack dinner it was in a buzz. Everyone was talking about the party tomorrow and how much they were looking forward to it. I knew everyone was curious, some cautious which was understandable. Just last week they thought a giant bear shifter wanted to kill them all.

Dinner continued in a buzz before settling and coming to an end.

Theon and I curled up in bed together and he smiled down at me. “You have done so well and I couldn’t be happier my love.” He pressed me against him. “You have come so far and have over come so much. I knew you’d be an amazing luna, my love.” He planted kisses all over me as I laughed softly as it tickled.

I returned his kisses before long we were locked together as if we couldn’t get enough air. We pulled away slightly panting before going back at it again.

Theon rolled us over to where he was on top. It felt as if my air was being sucked from me. He had me pinned and it felt amazing. He pulled away from the kiss to kiss along my jawline to my mark. A gasp escaped my lips, I felt him sucking on my mark. My nails slowly sunk into his back. A growl of pleasure escaped his lips as he positioned himself in between my legs. He looked up at me as if begging me to give him permission to insert himself.

My nails digging deeper was enough for him to catch the hint as he eased his way through. My mouth opened as a moan escaped in sheer pleasure. I felt him move slowly at first then start to pick up speed. His strong arms held on to him as he continued. Ecstasy filled my body as I pressed my cheek against the palm of his hand. I felt the muscle in his arm flex. He placed his head next to mine as he moved faster. A growl escaped his lips as whimpers of pleasure escaped mine. He quickly flipped me over and continued. His hand softly placed around my throat to support me as he bit into my mark. My body erupted into pleasure as I felt him pump his seed deep within me. Verena howled in pleasure as my cheeks were flushed a deep pink. I looked up at him panting as he leaned down and kissed me softly and with care.

We curled up together with a large smile plastered on his face and one on mine as well. I laid on top of him as he rubbed my back. With that we fell asleep happily, with the hope that tomorrow will go well. It just had to. I also had hope that I’ll be with pup this time around, but if anything he’ll just have dominate me again. My dreams were blissful and beautiful in his arms.
